Children, teenagers, adults and the elderly can all experience challenges, difficulties or mental illness in their lives, at one time or another. These situations may affect the way they think, feel, behave and function in daily life. It may also affect their relationships or work.

Support, skills, strategies, information and advice is available from Q-Psych to improve mood, well-being, relationships, performance, health, current or future situations, and overall quality of life.

With collective expertise working with people of all ages and varying needs, Q-Psych has a versatile team of psychologists who provide therapy, assessments, programs, mediation, consultation, training, expert testimony and other psychology services in a range of areas.

For CHILDREN, we help with learning, development, behaviour, mood, worries, trauma, social skills, relationships and more.

For TEENAGERS, we help with depression, anxiety, school outcomes, relationships, conflict, drug and alcohol use, trauma and other concerns.

For ADULTS we help with anxiety, depression, stress, mental illness, substance misuse, relationships, workplace difficulties, family problems, parenting help, and other needs.

Information about how we help other service providers and referrers is below.

For SCHOOLS we provide assessments to assist with individual education plans, consultation and case management of students with developmental or mental health problems, information and advice for staff, and group programs for students with anxiety or study stress. These services are provided by our specialty Education and Developmental psychologists.

For general practitioners and other MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS we provide clinical and health psychology services across the lifespan, developmental and cognitive assessments, child and family therapy, and case management of patients.

For LEGAL & JUSTICE PROFESSIONALS, we provide psycho-legal assessments and expert reports for violence risk, parenting capacity, psychological injury or impairment, work capacity, family functioning and more. We also provide treatment to juvenile and adult offenders, victims of crime (including domestic violence), injured workers, justice personnel and others.

For other organisations, agencies and other professionals we provide consultations, training, expert opinion and supervision.
