Appalling customer service! Was told by a sister company that I could purchase something over the phone from Putaruru branch because Putaruru had plenty in stock. When I called they refused to sell to me because I was "not a customer". Surely whether I physically walk into a shop, buy online or over the phone, I am still a customer and my money is as good as anyone's!
Bad service. Got called a dog by some lady called Vanessa. Who I don't know! Have shopped there in the past but would not shop there now. Sad that a small town business has such rude staff like Vanessa.
I've been here a number of times now, when visiting my mother who lives in Putaruru. The staff are always friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help. It has the warm small town welcome and you know that they are all wanting to get to know you. Good range of products, she handy central location.
Staff are keen to help you. Stock variety quite good but prices are not quite as good as elsewhere
Usually terrible customer service depending whos on that day. Eg. Swatting flys in front of you at the counter when purchasing items, disagreements between staff behind the counter on jobs with staff not wanting to do the job they have been asked - again while purchasing items. And not interested in helping you find stuff in store most visits. I do avoid going here as much as possible. Hopefully this improves as it does not represent Putaruru very well as the lovely community it is.
Always friendly and always find what you need
Held paint for me when there were only a few pails in the country.
