Very enjoyable experience. Delicious grazing plate and wines. Helpful friendly staff who took the time to give us a tour of this beautiful winery. Plenty of great outdoor seating to take in the awesome views. Loved the gift shop and cellar door too with a great range of gifts for everyone.., again helpful staff member made time for an interesting chat. We'll definitely be back.
We stop at several wineries a day on our trips south. Atm the only thing this place has going for it was the setting, lovely outlook. They had 2 young kids behind the bar, had no idea, while friendly, no real info on the wines and if you have a tasting and buy a bottle, don't expect to walk out of there for less than $80.. makes it very expensive exercise.
Lovely way to spend the afternoon sitting in the garden drinking wine with a view of the sea. Wine tasting for $20, tasting 6 wines. Nice platters to accompany them. Staff were very helpful and hospitable.
The wine tasting was very reasonable - either pay $20 or it's free if you buy 2 bottles of wine. Their small tasting board and dukkah with bread were great accompaniments to the wine. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Nice place. Sparkling Rosè was nice. Friendly staff. Brilliant location and decor.
Visited today, staff didn't even look at us, or ask if they can help us with anything. Asked how they got the name purple hen, and was just told there are many around. Then turned around and spoke to the other person they were working with. We just walked out, wanted to purchase a meal and wine, but left in disgust. Sorry won't be returning.
Staff was extremely friendly and attentive when we went there. The tasting was good value for money - we particularly enjoyed the Pinot Noir.
Came here on a Friday afternoon and it wasn’t busy. Jenny was so welcoming and friendly explaining things to us. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and some heaters outside too. Had a wine tasting paddle with a cheese platter which was lovely. The pinot is delicious. Nice scenery too
From the moment we arrived, we felt like we were an inconvenience. Wines were underwhelming and whilst the winery was not busy, no customer engagement at all. Just read wine notes on the back of a tasting sheet while we tasted wines bulk delivered to our table. 5 samples for $15 ea COVID makes things hard but this was just sterile. Very weird vibe. We had the complete opposite experience at Phillip Island winery, which was fabulous and we returned for lunch the next day.
Enjoyable award-winning local winery. Tasting is $5 per person that is refundable per bottle purchased. Local region cheese platters can be ordered and enjoyed inside, or in the peaceful outdoor areas. Local bottled beer also available. If it's busy, you may have to patient - it's a small winery.
