We called at 10pm on a Tuesday night, looking to get a room for at least 3 days with a cat as the accommodation that we should have had was not ready, they were very accommodating we arrived after 11pm and had mentioned that we needed the laundry facilities, they ensured we got a room on that floor and close by to it as well. The room was fantastic with a great view, the bathroom and water pressure was heavenly. The reception staff were extremely friendly, accommodating and helpful. The cleaners were great as we had a skittish cat we just asked for things and they left it at our door. We then extended our stay for an extra two days which they were happy to do and kept us in our current room. The pricing was on point for what we got. I have recommended this place to everyone we have spoken to in QLD if they ever need to come to this area. It’s always had to find accommodation that allows cats so I was quite happy to find this place.
We made booking on same day. Arrived at midnight. Doors locked. Reception closed. No email advising a lockbox with code even after it said in 24hrs after booking. Had to call their call centre. Not so friendly considering time and cold. Did end up guiding me however without issue. Nice rooms. Nice location. Excellent work space in foyer. However, Parking is $12 a day. Beautiful fragrance. Very clean. Business limit staff with ability to resolve simple issues that they need to seek a supervisor for issues such as an extra hour for late checkout. Could not sleep due to non stop barking dog in next room dogs allowed which we raised concern for. Both staff questioned the validity of the dog rather than listening to our experince and being solution focused we didnt know about dogs being allowed Supervisor did end up extending late checkout to 12pm. Checkout at 10am is unreasonable in first place. If youre going to allow dogs then you need guidelines to not impact other customers. We werent asking for a refund but seems even an extra hour checkout was too much effort considering. We asked to be relocated and were told we couldnt. They confirmed that the hotel was not fully occupied but we still couldnt move to another room. No solutions, Just restrictions and limitations on staff.
After previously talking to the reception multiple times about our sleeping situation and having an agreed upon price from the situation.nServices decided to charge extra, for an item already in each room.nWhen deciding to charge extra, I went to talk to them about the price to then be told they already took the money from accounts. Poor communication, crappier staff. Rooms werent ready til after 3pm. And check in is 2pm.nRooms themselves were nice, the services and staff. Not so.
Very disappointing stay as we were looking forward to staying here but very unclean! The state of the room upon arrival left me speechless. It is very clear that the level of hygiene at this so called 'hotel' is non existent and the attention to detail regarding cleanliness is so low that they missed stained underwear which was not even hidden/under anything. I honestly believe these rooms don't get cleaned properly at all let alone needing a deep clean. Heads up to families looking to book especially with asthmatic children. Real shame considering the hotel is located in a nice area and has so much potential.nP.S They offered nothing except sending housekeeping when I complained. No point as we can see the very poor job at hand. I literally had to do my own cleaning with my own disinfectant wipes and even that wasnt enough. My toddlers socks were completely black within 5 minutes, mind you he was wearing brown socks.nnThere's a huge difference between tidying up and being made to look clean and ACTUALLY being clean. I am not one to complain however I am still in utter shock by the hygiene standards of this place.
Amazing rooms and a fantastic stay. The rooms were spacious, modern, and very comfortable, which really stood out to me. Great location and excellent customer service from the friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.
