One of the best Indian restaurant in Brisbane. Great food and amazing service. The Goat Curry is to die for, the meat just melts in the mouth. The taste and quality are always consistent no matter how busy they are.
What amazing flavours. The $32 Banquet was a total winner. Fast delivery of food to the table, attentive staff and very friendly. Good selection of drinks menu. Absolutely will eat or get delivery from here when back in Brisbane From Melbourne
Exploring Indian cuisines in Australia is my favorite hobby! Yeasterday, I visited Punjabi palace, it was a great evening went! A very warm welcome by the staff at the reception, and we ordered Dal-makhni, with Naan. Oh, the person, who took order was great, explained everything in good Way and listened us carefully. Regarding the food, my goodness. I have been to Punjabi daal makhni in India, but here it was amazing. Spice level was medium and tasty! I feel like, I am in India. The background of the wall, was painted in the Rajasthani styles, and reminding me Joddha Akbar! I found that, not only Indians were enjoying meal there, but many other people from diverse countries were there. I just, loved the food. The most amazing thing, I ordered a cup of tea, and they said we will deliver you within 5 minutes. I counted in the watch, sharply they delivered in 6 minutes. I means, wow. They are really nice at the hospitality 5/5, food 5/5 and overall I rate it amazing evening with 5/5. I think, you should visit it.
Came here several months ago and neglected to rate it. These guys have the most efficient kitchen and front line staff. Fast and efficient service and so helpful with queries. Kitchen understands how to make a mild curry, and on the other end of the spectrum, does spicy on 3 levels. Flavours of the curries were delicate and sublime. My butter paneer was exactly how I thought it’d be. Naan was pillowy soft and tasty. I was advised the meat curry was good too. Would not hesitate to come back again or recommend. Thank you!
Ordered butter chicken, tikka masala, garlic naan and saffron rice. Taste of the curries were quite good and delicious, however portions are quite small and very expensive. The curries were around $20 each - and really just for one person. Garlic naan was alright but could use more improvements in my options - the overall texture wasn’t great and didn’t taste much of the garlic.
Best Indian Restaurant in Brisbane. Punjabi palace is my favorite Indian restaurant in town; paintings on the wall display the spirit of India. Staff members are very friendly and with great customer service skills. Food is prepared with fresh and high quality ingredients. The food is sensational. Garlic cheese naan is so tasty by itself; and if you dip them in the curries, you won't be able to stop eating them. I ordered 2 initially and my tummy requested me to add another 2. For the curries, I ordered Chicken Tikka Masala and Beef Ceylon both with mild flavor. The chicken was cooked skillfully that all the flavor had been soaked up by the meat. The beef was tender, juicy and easy to chew. I definitely recommend the restaurant and I will come back again in the near future to try different dish on the menu.
Best Indian food I have had in Brisbane. The wait staff were friendly, polite, efficient and attentive. Food was brought out hot, fresh, was of excellent quality and very flavoursome - spice level is tailored to order. The atmosphere is nice, good sturdy tables with adequate space. Great place for casual dining, open late, good for dates or eating out with friends and family. Highly recommend this place and will be returning [:
Punjabi Palace is the jewel of the South Brisbane dining experience. Introduced to it though my work who ordered it most Fridays for lunch, I now live only 100m away, and despite the huge selection of restaurants in walking distance, I always find myself drawn back to the Palace. A great restaurant with great curry, and some of the greasiest/cheesiest naan I've had in a good way. Personally my favourite curry is the Punjabi Delight. Vegetarian options: Excellent vegetarian options.
Food was excellent- but service lacking. I got a sense that Uber eats and pick ups got preference and priority over diners. We waited for 60 mins before we had a member of staff take our order. It was 30 minutes before our drink order was taken. It would have been very understandable if the restaurant was packed - but alas no. Tables left uncleared and toilets need some love. We love the food here - please get the service right - front of house staff just need to look out for customers.
We went to Brisbane all the way from Canberra and were looking for indian restaurant a bit late night around the city and saw punjabi Palace is still open. So we went there for dinner around their closing time. However, we were amazed with their service and hospitality. They greeted us with smiles, their food was amazingly delicious, and customer service was outstanding . We highly recommend this place to everyone.
