Very interesting visit and knowledgeable, friendly guide.
Some old features and facilities which the local people used them for building and construction. Some other are old and wonderful tools a normal life at that period of time. The age of those things were 150 years old.
Unique to the locals, but even more important in piecing together Northland history. Just one of the fanastic histories of settlers. Would love to know more about Māori settlers - that would really complete the perspective to all that live in Northland.
