Called in for breakfast before catching steam train. We ordered the 2x big Billy and hangover with latte and hit chocolate. Proportion was excellent I am a big fella totally enjoyed breakfast. Staff was very friendly and even came out to see if all was good. Thank you guys great place. Oh oh .....and the music choice I love up beat and relaxing puts you in a good mood.
Excellent quality meals. Modern cuisine and affordable prices. Old world charm with photos of the Puffing Billy steam engine on the walls. I had the Poke bowl my sister had the Harissa Lamb
Loved this cute cafe which was literally at a 2 min walking distance from Belgrave station. Went here to grab a quick bite after puffing Billy journey. The food was excellent and so was the service.
Brunch-time @puffingbillycafe We had the Billy Benedict with Smoked Salmon.. This dish comes with Braised chorizo this was especially yummy , poached eggs dressed in house-made Hollandaise and avocado salsa on a Sourdough toast... We also got the Big Billy - poached eggs on Sourdough with yummy bacon, potato rostie we love a good rostie, Mushrooms, pork sausages, tomatoes, Spinach and Chilli Jam.. Both dishes tasted absolutely yummy and sooo filling! For drinks, we got the Mix Berries Smoothie and the Iced Mocha... We couldn't resist trying out the little cakes in the cake cabinet.. so, we got the New York Cheesecake and the Flourless Lemon Cake as well... Needless to say, we were sooo full and happy by the end of our scrumptious meal! Service was friendly and quick given the rush of the school holidays.... We had had a very lovely brunch here. The Cauliflower, roasted pumpkin and halloumi cheese salad with chicken was delicious. Off the specials board corn fritters with pulled pork and chilli jam, a great balance of flavour and spice. Yum.
Came here this afternoon for lunch, with the family. I had the chicken pesto toastie and my mrs had the smashed avo & green pea. Both were really flavoursome and came to the table really quickly. The highlight was the chocolate chai latte, would recommend! Mrs finished it within minutes of it arriving. Our main server was amazing, i believe her name was Grace. She ensured everyone was catered to promptly and spoke friendly and professionally to all the customers. Thank you :
Very pleasant staff, great menu, I had scrambled eggs and coffee and took away an apple crumble tart. Fantastic
Had the chicken Parma was delicious my wife had a schnitzel sandwich and it delicious as well will be coming back again to try breakfast menu as well
Tasty and filling food. Had Wagyu beef burger, chips, hash browns and pork sausage. Cappuccino. Great value.
Rarely leave reviews, planned to go Puffing Billy and chanced upon this cafe. Usually don’t like to go to any cafe that sounds touristy but after hearing reviews decided to try. Amy who served us was very kind she was manning the counter and we had great Chai Latte, long black that were huge and great toasties. Oh yes, it was much more affordable than other cafes near by. Recommend to anyone passing by!
