We stopped in the for lunch yesterday. We were pleasantly surprised that it was kids eat free, but was disappointed to find out that they no longer do the Sumday roast My partner ordered the chicken burger and I ordered the doorstep steak sandwich and we shared a bacon and cheese garlic bread. The garlic bread was great and was undoubtedly the best part of our meal. The chicken burger was ok. The doorstep steak sandwich was noway near the size of a doorstep. The beer was lovely and cold though.
Chicken snitzel was great. Pepper sce was well seasoned. Chips were crispy Salas was fresh.Food: 5/5
Lovely place, modern. Very clean The man that served me was such a gentleman. I was here because I'm afraid of the storm coming. He made me an awesome coffee.
The food was amazing! We booked a table of over 30 people the Tavern was understaffed however the service we received last night was nothing but 100% these young people were so helpful and did their jobs what seemed no effort they kept their cool amongst our big families craziness and I just want to commend them and say thank you so very much we felt welcomed and supported the food was just beautiful seriously you would have never thought they were understaffed as the customer service was on point! Keep up the great work! Thank you from the Minniecon family & friends!

We attended on a Sunday lunch on Father's Day. There were 2 of us. We did not have a booking however the staff were able to accommodate us. We had an entre - salt and pepper squid. It was very tasteful. Our mains arrived and were a little disappointing. The garlic prawns - too much liquid and in dire need of salt. The chicken parmigiana - was overcooked and a bit dry. Service staff were excellent though.
Great trivia, Hit and miss food... The steaks are good one week not great the next, the chef is unable to consistently cook a steak to order, in my case medium rare ..Food: 2/5
A tavern in the burbs of Brisbane that offers excellent well cooked and presented food at reasonable prices. Good selection of tap beers and ciders. Very clean facilities, disability friendly. Pleasant atmosphere. Open Monday night! Great discovery!
