Used to be a very busy bubbling place with a good variety of choices but now the menu and items have been streamlined. Would have loved to give 5 stars but the value for money was not there. Can't be too harsh its covid has killed it for all. Hopefully things will brighten up before my next visit.

Get 25% off with the entertainment book! Thr food were was just so-so. Large servings. Bacon lovers will love this place. I ordered their eggs Ben and it was loaded with bacon! A little too much for me.

2nd visit to Public Grind. Staff friendly & quick service. Breakfast was tasty but light on for the price paid. Compared to a popular Balaclava cafe last weekend. Coffee excellent. Just a little whinge but I feel a valid one.
Food was a bit heavy and greasy but other wise acceptable. Coffee was pretty good. Service could use a tweak but it might have been cause we were sitting in a bit of a corner out of the way. Lovely artwork and nice ambience. Great place for a hangover brunch
Staff were friendly, but portions seemed a little small, especially for the price. Ordered scrambled eggs on multigrain, and an iced latte.
This little corner cafe has great coffee and the best little brekky burgers I’ve ever had. Very reasonably priced also.
New chef and new menu = amazing food. Same awesome coffee, the best in Highett. Had the Eggs Benedict with appleslaw, apple cider hollandaise and smoked salmon. It was delicious. Highly recommend giving the new menu a try.
