Story

Proski is Newcastle’s biggest snow and watersports specialty store. Although we now have a different name to what we once had, we retain our trademark expertise and extensive product range that we have had a reputation for since 1984. Located at 19 National Park Street, Newcastle, we are now a 100% independent store, after many years of operating as an Inski franchise and originally Alpine Ski & Sport.

The members of our team are snow and watersports enthusiasts, researching and sourcing products from all over the globe to ensure our stores offer you the latest and greatest cutting-edge equipment, along with knowledgeable first-hand experience and professional advice. We stock an extensive range of snow and watersports clothing, catering for skiers and boarders of all ages, levels and styles. Proski also boasts an impressive rental fleet stocking everything from standard ski and snowboard packages to hi-performance, race and freestyle skis and boards.

I have been using Proski, Newcastle for a few years now. Found Alan and the team to be most knowledgeable and helpful. Alan did me a pair of ski boots, measuring, fitting, remeasuring, refitting, checking different boot brands to get the correct one for me. Took them to Japan for a 9 week test out. Wonderful.
Great staff. Excellent service.
Couldn't be happier. The service was impeccable. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend PROSKI Newcastle to anyone
Treated very poorly by older male staff member a couple of days ago. He was entirely uninterested with helping and was rather rude, saying things like '... when you get better at skiing' in a very condescending tone. Will not be going there again.
Rude, lazy male staff member. Denied a fitting even while shop was completely empty “time is money”. You can either stand there doing nothing or work towards a sale. Lost me.
Massive shout out to Alan and Dylan who helped me with a set of Rossi 84s. Expert product knowledge and great service.
I came in today looking for a snowboard and boots and was served by Brendan. He was very helpful and knowledgaeble and was able to answer all of my questions. I felt that he was very honest and wasn’t trying to sell me anything that didn’t suit my needs. Perfect customer service!
