Great food, but the atmosphere was a little lacking. I had the chilli basil king prawn. It was delicious. It came out on a sizzling plate and was quickly gobbled up by my friends and I. We also ordered a red curry. It was very spicy and a little drier than those that I have had in the past. This was not a detraction from this dish though. It was delicious. I also really like that you don't need to order rice on the side. It comes with the meal. Great service. Staff were very attentive.
currys tasted like dish washing water, and "house Special" chicken was the driest, most boring skinless chicken breast iv had. made us walk to the bank to with draw cash cause they had already closed the till, while more tables still had to pay. shitty experience to say the least,
Price is okay, food is okay, nothing special. Customer service okay. The only hang up I had was when I asked if there was a surcharge I could pay as my meal was under the eftpos minimum, the boss rudely said to her colleague in Thai that maybe I should go get money out if I didn't have cash. If she had asked me nicely to my face maybe I would have, but she said it assuming I couldn't understand her and I find that extremely rude. I ended up paying the $20 and too bad I can speak Thai because I won't be gracing them with my money again.
If you tried any decent Thai food, you’ll find this place the food are really really no standard. Also the restaurant is dark and carpet is dirty and stinks. I’ll suggest you find other Thai food around the area instead. Don’t even go try please
They make the best chicken pad thai IMO - noodles aren't too wet or too dry, flavouring is just right not too sweet/intense/oily. I've been to many Thai places in Sydney and Promprohm seems to be the only place that does it right.
Unpretentious suburban Thai food. Quite good value for money. A word of warning - when I went 11 May 2015, the place looked a bit 'old.'
This is the oldest Thai restaurant in Sydney. Retro decor. Great food. Go up the stairs. It's on the first floor.
My number one Thai spot. This food is delicious!! Decor is very dated but the prices are great!
Do not believe in the 5 star reviews, this place is dirty and the food is VERY average. Not worth your money and time. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
The food is pretty good and priced well. Don't mind the ambiance as it was decorated in the 70s or 80s.
