I haven’t been to the dentist in quite a while as I wasn’t eligible for private healthcare until recently. The receptionist was lovely, as was the dentist that I saw. They made the whole appointment really comfortable for me and I couldn’t be happier with my experience here :
Primary Dental Preston is very unprofessional clinic. I chose to go this clinic based on the google review in the first place while I had bad tooth infection this was the only clinic which can book me in on that day. Dr Kevin has done root canal, filling and crown work for me since March till May 2021. I almost visited this clinic once two weeks because of many times failure work. In the beginning Dr Kevin was very nice and patient, and that was the reason I continued there. However all of these work took few stages to be done, during the process, I had worse and worse experience. The nurses in this clinic are very inexperienced, they are more like students, they didn't know how to assist the doctor and didn't know how to keep my moth open appropriately during the operation, caused my jaw so much pain. They also can't find the tools or anything the doctor needed, so very often I had to keep my month open and wait for them to find the relevant tools or medicine or whatever the doctor needed, that caused the operation time much longer than usual. Somehow the nurses changed each time and they were all the same, unskilled, inexperienced and didn't know where all the things were. Meanwhile I realised Dr Kevin was also not very experienced, he needed to inject anaesthetic few times to numb the teeth, that was fine but was so painful the way he did how I knew this is not normal because I now go to a new clinic, the new doctor inject the anaesthetic with little pain, I also went to the specialist, that was very little pain ! So before any operation I had already had fear, Dr Kevin wouldn't show any comfort either. Once he couldn't numb my tooth after three injection, then the forth anaesthetic injection made my whole left face numb for 2 hours, I couldn't close my left eye and couldn't speak. I never had this kinda experience in any dental clinic. He just told me to go home and come back next time... He didn't claim that was his fault but more likely it was my bad luck or my tooth was so hard to numb, well, it was more like normal incident. I still went back and got suffered by another poorly trained nursery my month almost got teared apart till Dr Kevin really failed his crown work. He did very poor work to make the temporary crown, it didn't fit my tooth, it had holes because he couldn't get the shape right, he kept shape my tooth and the crown! It should be a pretty easy and short time work but it took him 2 hours to get done but when I got home, I found the in-smooth crown hurt my tongue badly. I finally realised this was not normal at all. I went to another dental clinic to get 2nd opinion, this made me realised how unprofessional Dr Kevin was and how bad Primary Dental Preston was. I decided to not go back to Dr Kevin, did my crown work in this new dental clinic, it was very good and comfortable, they have 3D print kinda machine to get the crown shape without putting all of those silicon moulds into my mouth which Dr Kevin used, it took 30 mins only and painless. My new dentist was so thoughtful and professional, I had my filling done there too, every time I had good treatment. This made me realised how bad it was in Primary Dental Preston. They are also very expensive but the equipment is very old, the hygiene is not great I saw dead cockroach in the ceiling light box. So regardless this is my own experience, I share here with you. This bad dental experience caused me so much trauma and fear and not trust doctor, I don't believe patients should receive this kinda treatment when they are vulnerable physically and psychologically. I personally don't recommend this clinic to anyone. If you don't feel comfortable with any doctor, you should leave and find one who makes you comfortable and trust.
Amazing staff! They made me really comfortable and put my worries at ease. I was nervous being 5 months pregnant but the dentist and assistant reassured me and really made the procedure as painless as possible. Thank you

Dr Kevin the dentist, did wonderful work on my teeth and friendly receptionist kept me informed of any changes to my appointment, as well as booking was easy. Would Highly recommend this actual Dental place to anyone.
Have always had the best experience here. Dr. Maham Sarfraz is amazing! Very very thorough. The place is very clean & organised. Always on time. The receptionist, Jenny, is a sweetheart. Dental nurses are always very kind. Would recommend this place 100%!
