Beautiful pounamu and taonga at affordable prices. The staff were really helpful. I spent a while looking at some pounamu for my children, so many to choose from. I will definitely be back any time I want to buy pounamu for friends or whanau. Worth a look - I'd even drive down from Auckland for these prices.
Service more than excellent. Very cheap Taonga. The two girls serving were knowledgeable and so very nice and helpful. We spent $1600 easily and got some bloody awesome pieces. I'll be visiting on my next holiday to NZ. Please get some more bangles, those small ones didn't fit my fat hand!! Arohanui Hana
Went in last week to get my son a greenstone as his mother is Māori. The girl at the counter was super helpful and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Great service with great prices. Can’t go wrong here. Highly recommend.
Te Kauwhata Pounamu are amazing. Really fast responsive communications, great products and very reasonable prices for locals, not tourists. I love this place, and stop in whenever I can. I love my pounamu earring so much, rarely take them off! Would fully recommend to everyone.

A wonderful place to purchase pounamu from. They have a good range of unique pieces and also have some maori artifacts to look at. They are good gift ideas with price ranges to suit your budget.

Beautiful items to purchase here, green stone, bone beef and mother of pearl. All at wholesale prices. There sign says "prices are wholesale so everyone can afford to own a piece" and its true.
