I've now been here a few times and loved it every time. Louise and the crew are welcoming and helpful!nnEach table has a set of paints/glazes and paintbrushes, but if you need anything else there's a little help yourself area or the staff will also assist in finding what you need.nnThere's always a great range of things to paint, including cute ornaments, vases, plates, mugs and bowls. It helps to have a game plan of what you are wanting to create.nnI recommend not going overboard and focusing on one item or having a little sketch ready so you don't waste time planning when you have your pottery item in front of you! The usual time allowance is about an hour and a half.nnBook online to secure a session. Get there a few minutes early to look at what's on offer before sitting down.nnThis is definitely a fun thing to do in Adelaide and I highly recommend!nnOur creations came back in the time explained. They were beautifully glazed and the colours come back rich & glossy.nnI will be back for more!nnThank younnPhoto of pumpkin and skull before firing and a spider I got back afterward firing. Took about six weeks :
Pottering around is one of my favourite places.nnLouise and the team are absolutely lovely, welcoming, helpful and just overall brilliant human beings. The wonderful people make this an even greater space to be able to enjoy your time creating!nnThere are options for different budgets and the cost for painting factors in the glazing and firing!nnThey have light eats available ie ham and cheese toasty, Vegemite and cheese toasty, cakes etc and also have cool and hot drink options - which are all delicious!nnI have been raving about pottering around since I discovered it and hope more people get to enjoy the brilliance that is creating their own unique pieces!
Such a fun and unique thing to do! We are very excited to be able to pick up our finished products! I must admit we were a bit taken back by how long the wait is to pick up the pottery but it was a great experience!
Great fun and great experience.nFood took a while to come out only because one staff member was doing it all on her own, and it was busy today.nFood/drinks were great.nI'd love to suggest more relaxing music to listen to while we paint as the loud pop music was a bit distracting.nUnfortunately there were no teacups/saucers left, which we were keen to paint, oh well. Paint pots were very dry on the edges, needed a good clean.
We had literally so much fun being here and painting, it was such artsy vibes, amazing service, great music. Totally worth hyping you guys. They got like 6 weeks of waiting to pick final product so go now for your Christmas presy.
