I’ve been here three times for repairs and I’m always delighted with the results. The ladies here work sewing magic and the service is always friendly too. Thank you for extending the life of my favourite clothes!
Terrible. Put an Abelard business shirt in for laundering & pressing. Came back ripped. Took it back upon realising. No apology. Just an offer to stitch it up free of charge! Really, wearing a stitched up business shirt in an office is not a good look. She looked at me like I was crazy when I told her to throw the shirt away. So essentially I paid for this business to destroy a nice shirt. Never go back - certainly don't recommend!
Absolutely unprofessional. I brought two jackets and they came back smelly. Owners won't do a thing about it and don't care at all whatsoever. I was told I can pay $10 to get some product sprayed on my jacket in order to remove the smell. I'm sorry but I never had to pay extra when taking my jackets to other dry cleaners. They always came back smelling fresh. I asked for my jackets to be redone and they won't do it.
This is the worst dry cleaners ever. I brought my wedding dress for dry cleaning at the Post Office Square outlet and told the staff who attended to me that I had already checked the dress and the only stains were at the hem of the dress if it couldn't be removed, I was fine with it. When I took the dress home after it was dry cleaned, I noticed black marks which I'm 100% sure wasn't there before on the skirt part of the dress. I checked it carefully to make sure there wasn't any other marks and brought it back to them. The owner insisted it wasn't them who created the marks and reluctantly dry cleaned the dress again. When they rang to tell me it was ready, I went there to check my dress there and saw that not only were the stains still there but there was now a 2 inch tear on the skirt. I was in tears at that stage as my dress was ruined even more and the staff rang the owner so I could talk to him. He proceeded to yell at me through the phone, threatened me, and offered no reasonable solution. The staff was also clearly shocked by his lack of compassion to my situation, as they did whatever they could to help me with my dress, hugged and consoled me I'm thankful to those lovely ladies there but it's such a shame that a rude, arrogant person runs that business and clearly has no customer service and quality control of how delicate garments are cleaned and for that reason I will never return there and warn people never to use Mayfair dry cleaners.
What an awful place. Sent a T-shirt in for dry-cleaning but it came back as a wedding dress. What the hell? I was so confused. I asked the owner who didn't even apologise but he told me this happens all the time and just offered a free stitch up. How's a stitch up going to fix this? What a waste of prime real estate. Hope this shop goes under soon.
TLDR: Service not provided, no refund offered, silk blouse is further damaged from cleaner. Silk blouse picked up with further damage, original stains not cleaned, referred to owner Emmanuel to discuss a refund as the 'manager' is not authorized to do so. Was met with unhelpful, abrupt manner and referred to the "international guidelines of textiles" by Emmanuel, he explained that the further damage was a result of sugar?. Aggressive and unhelpful, will not be going back, and will be spreading word of mouth as to this terrible experience.
I had left a very valuable Diamond ring in my suit jacket, the staff worked tirelessly to find the ring and return it to me, the staff were honest, empathetic and caring. I have been using these guys for many years and they are incredible. Thank You !!! I am incredibly grateful to you.
I purchased a $150 white color shirt female from Cue store Australian Manufacturer for myself. Never worn before it was given for dry cleaning before it is ready for wearing. Dry cleaning resulted into Black grain stains on the front, not fit for wearing anymore. The Post Office Square Dry cleaner is asking me to sign a waiver to remove the stains caused by their process which might result into damage as per manufacturer's fabric warning. I refused to sign a waiver as it was dry cleaner's poor quality control and not a clothing or manufacturing fault. Above all, the owner threatened me if I go to ACCC, I have to pay $220 for court proceedings and it will take 3 months before I get my shirt back.
