The food was delicious! We had a variety of pasta, fish, steak and chicken dishes and they were all well presented and delicious. I had the pepper steak and it was cooked as requested. Dessert was delicious, I had the cheesecake. Today's flavour was passionfruit and the flavour and texture was excellent. The customer service was excellent, our waitress was lovely and accommodating. We sat outside on the covered terrace and the gas heaters kept us very warm. Will definitely return. Parking: There is no parking dedicated to the restaurant, limited on-street parking but there is free carparking in nearby streets. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access to restaurant and dining area.
My friend and I went for dinner at our local Portofino tonight with no booking, Luckily they made a table for us on the spot. Food was delicious and service is always 10/10, very helpful and lovely lady at the front! Highly recommend.

Still as good as ever. Haven't been here for a number of years until today but the Spaghetti Marinara is as good as I remember.
Delicious dinner as always. We had cheese bread pene to start.Fettecini con pollo is my go to dish but tried the lamb cutlets tonight. Well I had the pasta as my entree and lamb as my main. Wife had squid and prawns for main. Bought tiramasu for desert as take away as we were too stuffed to eat it there. One of our favorite places to eat.
Always a great meal with a very varied selection of foods in all categories, a bit more training of the waiting staff is required, but everyone working there are lovely, happy. It was a great meal that all four of us had and really enjoyed. Nice facilities, great bar and wine etc. selection, everything clean and tidy, although the backs of the chairs are very uncomfortable. Definitely go back though, it was a great evening and meal.
The food was amazing except for the cheese pizza which was quite salty. We had risotto and steak there. My gin and tonic was great but the Sex on the beach cocktail that my boyfriend ordered was too sweet and tasted more like juice than cocktail . Staff were friendly and nice. Prices are reasonable!
Nice ambience. Lovely waitress. We all enjoyed our meal. My only complaint is they need to update their website as prices for alcohol and food was totally different to the Menu at our table. Would also suggest that they make it more clear that you can BYOW.
Had a large table booked that restaurant had called to ask if wanted to cancel as they would be busy rude With the name Portofino you'd expect a real touch of Italian but was welcomed by a pub looking eatery with 3 paintings of Italy and a dozen broken lights we counted them Our waitress was amazing and did well to serve a large table but the owners/managers were rude and obnoxious. One of our friends asked for a half serving of Gelato as can't eat too much since stomach cancer and was told "fine but you'll have to pay full price" We were then told they were closing soon just a few seconds after receiving our desserts and hurried out the door. Apart from the lovely waitress they did not give any customer service. I was sneered at by the shift manager who was upset that we were paying separately as she had to work it out. Ruined our friends birthday dinner. Would not go back and suggest others to not waste their time considering this awful venue.
Great foods with terrible service. Always packed of people, better to make reservation before you come. Have been there couple times, this time only allow us to stay from 6:15pm-7:45pm1.5 Hours Confirm with us again our dinning time slot once we seated. Foods are always nice n yummy, fresh n authentic. Just found that the pizza is a bit salty this time. Want to share about their terrible service this time our previous experience is pretty ok Just want to point out the waitress is not professional as we expected, not refill the water until the dessert time actually we already called out twice , not checking up the foods. Have to call out couple times for dessert menu.... very disappointing.
