Story

Flowers need a painterly hand to make the journey from bunch to bouquet. Kylie Harris, florist and founder of Portobello Rose, creates her flowers with an artist’s eye, paying subtle attention to colour, volume, texture and mood. In 2010, she opened her own bespoke florist shop in Sailor’s Bay Road, Northbridge, and Portobello Rose was born.

The name, Portobello Rose was born from a love of vintage style, romantic 19th century posies and the bold mix of the modern and the motley that typifies Notting Hill. Her signature bunches burst with lush contrasts and are always a study in nuanced palettes. Brides come to Portobello Rose knowing we can make every occasion personal, passionate and appropriate, from a flower girl’s miniature bouquet to the table arrangements and themed bridal party flowers.
