A nice and tasty suburban restaurant experience. Enjoyed the menu whilst the ambiance was unexpected. Friendly staff and notable service. I observed a wide range of customer demographic types which is indicative of it's broad appeal.
Delicious. Our first time and loved it. Pork belly was lean and perfect. Chicken breast was tasty and moist. Vegetables are cooked to perfection. Lovely professional staff.

We’ve dined at Portabella a number of times and have never been disappointed. The food is always full of flavour, there’s a great selection and the service has always been wonderful. I see a lot of comments about not having enough staff and I think it’s important to remember there is a staff shortage everywhere at the moment and a lot of hospitality venues are struggling to fill vacancies so let’s be kind. We’ll keep dining here, the food really is magnificent.
Food was ok, not special and compared to other restaurants, over priced. Service was again nothing out of the ordinary. Atmosphere was shocking. The tables were so close together, every time a staff member walked past which was frequently they brushed the backs of the guests sitting on that side of the table. Wouldn't bother going again.
The food was magnificent. The price was great value at only $45 for 3 delicious courses. I will certainly be back and sharing this gem with friends and family. Recommendations: 1st course - stuffed mushrooms, 2nd course - baramandi & 3rd course - pana cota. Amazing mocktails and cocktails too.
Ocotober '22 - we ordered the chicken breast & gnocchi - the gnocchi was excellent - very good texture and softeness. The chicken was a bit dry, some tough bits. Overall the dish needed a more salt to elevate the dish. See photos below April '22 - Very good Italian . Probably the best Gnocchi I've had in 7 years. Can't wait to go back. It's not cheap though.
The tapas are wonderful and the service is even better. If luxury fast food was a thing, this place would be where it’s at. Each dish had a unique and flavorful bite. Order two small and two large tapas, a tasty beverage, and a desert for about A$100. Book ahead. Wear a mask to enter, take it off at the table, and put it back on to leave. It’s worth it.
The service we experienced was exceptional. From where I say I was able to watch the wait staff and they were incredible in their attentiveness and service. The food is quite good we enjoyed what we ordered. Prices are ok For me a craft beer drinker, finding craft beers on tap was a big bonus This is a restaurant we will certainly visit again
Was disappointed today. Restaurant was very busy without enough staff?? Our table of 9 was neglected even though the new girl was lovely and did her best. We would have had more drinks and tea/coffee with dessert if they had asked. We couldn't get their attention. I chose a premium main meal and fish was terrible - like it had been frozen - taste was very strong as well, and didn't taste like river barramundi. Was excited to get papaya salad but so disappointed - only 4 small pieces of papaya and very bland. I feel it has deteriorated quite a bit but still charging quite a bit. I wouldn't be keen on going back. Toilets were a bit dinghy too - perhaps a good scrub would help.
