Arguably the best Medical Centre in Tasmania. Great reception staff and Doctors and Nurses. All extremely professional. Port Sorell and near area residents should consider themselves extremely fortunate to have this facility available..
DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!nDo not trust this centre with your health!!!nI actually question the doctors credentials!!nThey only care for your money!nWorst practice ever!!!nnCompletely dishonest about pricing right from the start even when asked.nDoctor was not competent thrown in the deep end…management should be ashamed of themselves!nDoctor prescribed something I should definitely not have been!nI was charged for a service I didn’t want and when I questioned management about it there was no reasoning with her and had no other option!!nnI am now having to attend another medical centre for my needs as I have no confidence in this centre whatsoever!!!nnIn response to the owner Port Sorell Medical CentrennFirstly, I would like to mention you are a compulsive liar!nAt the time I made the booking, I was asked if I had a Medicare card, to which I replied that I did. However, there was definitely no mention of any fees whatsoever.nnSecondly, once I had arrived for the appointment, I was definitely not notified that as a first time patient, I would incur a charge of $150. If staff had been honest with me upfront, and told me that I was required to pay a fee of $150 as a first time customer, I would have immediately cancelled the booking and gone elsewhere.nI’m unsure why you mentioned that you are a private practice in your reply. You are a business, and if you choose not to do bulk billing, that is your choice.nHowever, if you intend to charge clients, you have an obligation to inform patients upfront what the fees will be. Instead of being honest and transparent, you choose to ambush me after the appointment, at which point, I felt pressured and intimidated into paying your exorbitant fees.nnYou mention your fees are on the website. However, I have just searched your entire website today 17/01/2024 and it is NOT mentioned anywhere, that new clients are required to pay a consultation C appointment, for a fee of $150. Further it also states that a surgery consultation C appointment is $145 NOT $150! Again more dishonesty!!!nnYou are a deceitful and dishonest business, and I hope my review helps prevent other patients from being ripped off!
We have a wonderful medical center at Port Sorell, and it starts at reception, the girls are so kind and helpful nothing is a problem for them, I find my doctor Dr Josh Perrett is not only efficient but very caring, great Medical Centre.
