Best steak we've had in a pub, was daily special $30 for Porterhouse, chips n salad; my Dianne Sauce was delicious too. Stuff friendly. Bit noisy but was very busy night. Best to book.
Unfortunately got in at 8 and meals only go from 5:30-8. No time to find any other food but luckily the lovely blonde lady was able to sort out 2 pizzas for us. We asked for cold but they even cooked it for us! Will definitely come back in open kitchen times to try some of the vegan food! Thanks so much guys
We phoned for a dinner reservation on New year's Eve and they squeezed us in 2 of us. We had garlic bread with cheese for starter. Hubby had seafood plate and I had braised steak main meal both meals tasted awesome. Price wise, not too bad but there was a 10% surcharge even though NYE isn't classed as a bank holiday.
Ordered our meals, waited 1.5 hours for our meals. We have a 7 month old, staff member came to our table and made conversation only to laugh and say that we only been waiting an hour and 15 for our meals and that we still have at least another half hour! We had not complained about the meals taking so long because I understand it was busy. But she just came over to us and said this. Very frustrating when you have a young baby and get laughed at and told “ you’ve only been waiting 1 and a bit hours, you still have another half hour in you”. We changed our meal to takeaway so we could get home and put our son to bed before 10 pm!
After waiting 50 minutes for my meal I was very disappointed. The garlic prawns was bland, lacking any sort of flavour that resembles actually garlic prawns. The side salad was the only good thing about it. The only reason I am giving it 2-stars because every other meal was fine.
Absolutely fantastic nothing is to much trouble. The large round tables are brilliant for families. Food was hot and very enjoyable. We have been twice in 3 days.
Our little family of 3 came in, sweltering from the hottest day in 2022 while on a camping trip and I was heavily pregnant! A lady was so kind & found a table for us, despite being extremely busy. Thank you!!
absolutely horrible. food took over an hour to arrive on the table and we ordered a kids meal which took the longest to come. the servers were lovely but the service wasn’t. i do recommend the mock tails and oysters, but otherwise a 1/5.
