Poplar Caravan Park & Harry's Snack Shack

I call this caravan park twice last night and then again this morning at 7:15 am. I was greeted with "DO YOU KNOW WHAT TIME IT IS" when I asked if they had any accommodation, so I just hung up the phone. Than about 1/2 hr later I get a call from the lady at this caravan park saying she had a missed call from this number and I said "yes I as wanting to know if you had any accommodation for this weekend"and then she said "You rang me at that time in the morning just to ask me that" and I said '" Yes have you any accommodation this weekend". She proceeded to say "for someone that rude no I don't have any accommodation" and then hung up. What a strange place. I have been traveling for a long time and would have thought people who own caravan parks would be up at that time of the morning. Sorry if I have offended you, but I am a paying customer and if you have a attitude like that you don't deserve to have my money.

Good setting close to town. Very clean amenities, lovely helpful staff. Really good eatery/restaurant eat in or take away. Reasonable prices for accom and food. Definitely recommend 😀

Greasiest (in a good way!) and best fresh handmade potato scallops in town!! Chips are also great and the atmosphere is lovely. Service is local and friendly. Come here for an easy take away or great eat in experience 👍

As a permanent resident for 13 years the time speaks fot itself longest I have lived anywhere and only by choice, the weather and the food and hospitality second to none
