The staff were very friendly and they served nice coffee and tasty biscuits... They also did a good job of our kids hot chocolates not too hot!. At a great venue too, so it's a winner - our kids ran around the lawn and explored the gardens while most of the parents got to sit down and relax.
Lovely setting, quaint cafe, great food and service
Not a fan of the recyclable takeaway containers. Understand COVID considerations but restrictions have eased as should your service. Disappointed to pay top dollar for a meal served in a small paper box.
Food fresh & arrived quickly. Delicious. Herb tea also great. Lost 1 star only because I'm cheapskate & I thought they were a little pricey
We had takeaway lunch at the Pollen during our visit to the Canberra National Botanic Gardens. After the main path walk we decided to have lunch there but because we didn't book ahead so we had lunch in the takeaway areas. The service was quick and the foods and coffee were nice. Highly recommended.
I would wax lyrical about the coffee and food, but these bumpkins close at 3pm on a Sunday...so I didn't get to sample any of the food and coffee. We are in the national capital for goodness sake, at least stay open till 5pm.
