Had a horrible experience in here at the weekend. Female staff member so sales pushy which is just forced and uncomfortable. Had a bow tie I wanted to purchase, as well as a waistcoat. I went to grab my suit jacket from my car to try on with the waistcoat, but was pretty much forced to purchase the bow tie before I left the store no idea why I had to buy this item when I was returning to try on waistcoats.. - when I returned and tried on the waistcoat I said I didn't really want to spend that sort of money, was there anything else. She didn't offer an alternative, but said if I signed up there and then, I'd receive $30 off of my first order. Failing to mention this when I bought the bow tie! Thought that was just blatant disrespect. Left the store after hearing that.. I'd never hand them my money ever again.
Absolute terrible customer phone service. I had tried ringing the store numerous times before someone bothered to answer. When they finally did, I copped the worst attitude from the girl working there. I was ready to purchase all of our groomsmen outfits on the spot but she lost herself a $1200 sale because she was that rude!

So last Saturday after tirelessly trying to find a white shirt for an event I was attending I managed to find one at politix. Rookie mistake! The unhelpful staff at the south yarra store crumpled the shirt into the bag knowing full well it needed to be worn later that evening. I took it home followed the care label instructions ironed it on the coolest settings. Much to my disgrace when buttoning up the shirt it fell apart before my eyes. I took it back to politix the very next day explaining I was left with no outfit for my event because of this shirt malfunction. They offered to replace it however, I felt that it deserved a refund due to the inconvenience I was placed in & the product being faulty. I was told by store manager Sylvia that it needed to be sent away this was last Sunday. 6 days later I get a call saying I'm sorry head office won't refund or exchange the shirt as you ironed it. This shirt can't be ironed. The care label clearly says it can be. The store manager Sylvia was also very rude & unhelpful when I asked for my original receipt & shirt to be put aside for collection. I have wasted $200 on rubbish. I have received appalling treatment. I will be taking this to the accc for further insight. My advice is don't be lured in by this cheap& nasty apparel!
