Point Insurance is the worst company I have ever dealt with, if I could give them zero stars, I would. During one of the worst times I’ve been through, I could have used a little bit of compassion, all I got was deafening silence, heartless indifference, insensitive procrastination, empty promises, and fake apologies. I had to fight for every bit of progress. Four times I was assured they would call back in two days, every time, after ten days I had to call them back to find out what was going on. After four and a half months, I did finally get a payout, but not without a Herculean effort. If I’d put the premium in the bank, during the time I’d been paying income protection insurance, I would now be $12,000 plus interest better off, and without all the grief. If you’re thinking of dealing with Point Insurance, don’t.
