Needed a place on the cheap for an overnight stay before an early morning flight the next day, and this was it.nEverything that you would typically expect from a hostel, but perhaps a little better with the sleeping pods instead of bunk beds as you get a little bit more privacy and personal space.nPods themselves were pretty clean and comfortable, and the kitchen/shared area seemed alright as well.nMain let-down was the bathrooms as there were only two toilets and maybe four shower stalls. Showers didn't feel particularly clean with dust and stains in every cubicle.
Firm mattress and memory foam pillows, I found find by my partner did not like, pods good for privacy and reasonable sized lockers. Common area around the pods did have an unpleasant odour, perhaps due to shoes being left outside pods. Bathrooms could do with some TLC, but I suspect this is expected in hostels? Only saw receptionist at checkin, all other times the desk was unattended. Overall satisfied with what we got considering the savings we made by staying here.
Good for sleeping, pods are comfy enough, and the addition of a kitchen is nice. However everything else is pretty sub-par, but that's expected for the price tag. Also make sure you bring your own thongs or flip flops for the showers if you don't want a fungal infection.
For a fun private place at very reasonable price, it was perfect. As a senior who just needed somewhere over night, I was very happy. Thank you Pod Inn. My family thought it looked cool too.
