Wonderful pods, clean and spacious with functioning amenities. They have extra storage space for large bags besides just lockers.nnAn open and large common space for mingling about as well as CLEAN and regularly maintained bathrooms, cannot emphasise this enough! Highly recommended for a short stays in Launceston
- Value for the money.n- Rooms are clean.n- Bathrooms are okay. Though it would have been great if the bath was designed in a such a way that bathroom floor does not get wet all the time.n- However, you might not be able to sleep well if there were people who do don’t understand that they’re shearing a public space with thin walls if you know what I mean nAnyway, overall, it was a good facility.
Bathrooms are covered in black mould.nOnly storage available for suitcases is in a back room with no lock, and a sign stating they are not responsible for any stolen property. That's dumb.nOverall service is OK.nRooms are OK, what you expect.
overall an okay experience. pods were clean and comfortable for those who prefer firmer bedding. would not recommend for noise sensitive and older people. the shared bathrooms felt uncomfortable and low quality with a more shower to toilet ratio. the shared kitchen and japanese restaurant brang an odd at best and foul at worst odor into the common area. however other visitors were respectful in common area, but not in the pods as they were on the phone, coughing loudly, leaving their shoes out, etc. Would recommend for solo, backpack travellers who just need a place to crash for the night.
I love this place. Everything that I need is available without any cost such as laundry, hair dryer, iron, kitchen cutlery, clean and spacious showers and restrooms.nThe backpackers are friendly and self-disciplined to keep the common place clean and in order.nWould highly recommend for anyone coming to Launnie
