Best fish and chips in the whole Wellington region! Prompt service, but usually extremely busy. Freshest fish in Wellington - apparently caught/sent daily from Napier. Crispy thin batter and non-oily chips. Not wheelchair accessible.

Went to this place last night for the first time after many recommendations. Spent around $22 and went for one of the fillets of fish for $12. Unfortunately everything was so overcooked it was inedible except the chips. The potato fritters were very dark brown and burnt and the fish was very dry as a result. Maybe it was just a once off... the seagulls had a good feed though.

Deepsea code fillet is quite nice and fresh. Highly recommended!

One of my favorite fish and chip shop. Good chips alway crispy. Have them by the plimmerton beach. Try pineapple fritter. It's yummy!
