This delightful cafe is let down by poor service and poor hygiene. We were a party of 4 for 10am brunch. There were vacant tables so it wasn’t bustling.nIn a three-hour sitting we weren’t offered more water, we weren’t offered more coffee, and our plates weren’t cleared.nOur coffees were ordered and delivered promptly. Our meal order was taken quickly, and arrived in a reasonable time. We had to ask for water to be replaced. Then our empty plates sat in front of us for over two hours. Two plates were cleared… One of the party left… Then at 1pm we made moves to leave and a waitperson finally asked if we wanted another round of coffee.nOur glasses were dirty and there was food on the floor under our table.nDisappointing.nMeals were good overall, but my fritters were a little bland. Access to salt, pepper, and sugar would be welcome.
Fantastic menu, beautifully plated. We were there 10:00 Sat a group booking, so busy. Great atmosphere, group table/reservations available. Both indoor and outdoor seating. If you love a milkshake this is the place to go.
Food was very creative, with lots of different breakfast options. There was a couple of standard dishes but most had an interesting twist which made them just that bit more intriguing. Coffee was decent but could have been a lot hotter. I get the impression the coffee are being poured into cold cups, which on a winter day, means you end up with it lukewarm by the time it hits the table. Service was friendly but not particularly proactive - we had to go up to the counter to order the second round of coffees after brunch, and no one cleared the table until we left. All in all though, a very decent brunch spot!
A lovely brunch experience with the fam. Attentive friendly service paired with delicious high quality food and drinks. Definitely a favoured local in the area.
Popular local cafe with a lively vibe. Their bacon is a standout because it seems like it's flame grilled, so extra delicious. They also offer fantastic affogatos ice cream with a shot or two of espresso. Plenty of street parking nearby.
