I visited Planet 72 twice during my recent trip to Hervey Bay. While the prospect of 72 flavours is daunting, the variety ensures there is truly something for everyone. I found that about ten flavours really caught my eye, and the four I tried were quite understated—delicious, but perhaps not for those seeking an intense punch of flavour.nThe experience was a bit inconsistent; serving sizes varied between my two visits, and while most staff were friendly, the wait times were significant. On my second visit, the queue was quite long, though that was to be expected given the heatwave! A solid spot for a cool treat, just be prepared for a wait on hot days.
Unique ice cream shop in front of the park. Was tried 3 flavours Baileys & scorched almonds, Fairy floss and Choc cherry parfait. Everything taste yummy. Staff was friendly.
My favourite was the tasting plate, my family and I all picked our favourites to try. But, that still leaves 63 flavours not tried.nWe solved this with multiple visits haha!nnGreat place, friendly staff, very high quality ice cream. Would definitely recommend.
Can’t get enough of them! Well priced - all their serving sizes comes with a half scoop more. Until next holiday.. I will be missing my honeycomb and mint slice combo!
