One of the best green tea ice-cream I've had! It was not sweet, slightly bitter although could be more, but I suspect would not resonate with local taste if they did, not milky - just like how green tea ice cream should be! I was just so surprised given it's hard to be expecting anything authentically Asian in the coastal towns of Queensland still haven't come across any.... Anyway, great selection of ice cream as well - three fridges of them. Service was okay, but could be friendlier.
Planet 72 Ice Creamery in Hervey Bay is an absolute gem! The wide range of flavors had me spoiled for choice on my first visit. Unsure of what to try, I asked the friendly saleswoman for a recommendation, and she chose the most delicious option. Every day during my stay in Hervey Bay, I found myself coming back for more. The ice cream is incredible, and the vibes in the shop are just as great. It's an experience I’ll never forget—highly recommend if you're in the area!
This is my favourite ice creamery in Hervey Bay! There are so many flavours and the quality is just amazing; very creamy and rich with delightful accents like choc chips or brownies. My favourite is the Bailey's with scorched almonds!
Planet 72 Icecreamery doesn't disappoint, as they have a mammoth selection of ice creams and sorbets. This store is always booming with customers, and the flavours my family and I have tried have all been delicious. Friendly service and I love that they offer 1 and a half, etc, scoops as it's nice to have one main flavour and then a little extra on top of something different. Highly recommend the rock salt caramel and rocky road. They have benches outside the store for you to sit and enjoy your treats but it's also across from the beach. Perfect location! We always stop by here for a treat when we visit Hervey Bay.
What an experience! Never seen an ice creamery with 73 flavours, made it hard to decide what to get... Went with Bounty, Turkish Delight & Mint Choc Fudge; partner got Bailey's, Turkish Delight & Passionfruit. Very very nice ice cream!
