Pizzeria Torino Restaurant

A last minute decision to grab a meal before a show had us eating at this unexpected delight. Located not far from Enmore Theatre we had an hour before the show. We asked how timing would be for the meal and they delivered to the table in that time. We grabbed a bottle of wine from the Liquor store a few doors up to the left as you exit the restaurant to pair with the meal. The food was full of taste and true home Italian cooking flavours. I'll be honest and say the food did not have the table presentation that would have you thinking this is amazing but it definitely had the flavour and taste to make it one amazing meal.

Don't know what's going on here but just had a Bolognese that tasted more like a curry. I could smell some kind of weird spice before I even opened it up. Potentially one of the worst Bolognese I've ever eaten

This is not an authentic Italian restaurant. The food was atrocious. The pizza bases are pre made and vacuum sealed, I saw them being taken out of the cool room. The pasta was over cooked, the sauce tasted uncooked and straight from a jar. The salad was undressed and had browning lettuce.. an absolute horrific experience.. yuck

I'll start my review with the stealing this place seems to do. I was overcharged by what seems to be the owner lady. She added the bill and quickly gave me a total. I paid and then checked and yes, my intuition was correct. Overcharged by $8. After I returned to let her know, she made excuses for some extra we had not true and a credit card surcharhe and then said in a patronizing voice "don't worry, I'll give your $2 back". Not $2, $8. Reading reviews of this place it seems they do this regularly' stealing money from their customers. Not ethical and, in fact, illegal. On top of that, no tax invoice. Hmm dodgy. The food: Very very average. Not bad but just plain average. Service: The young girl was lovely. She really tried hard but plainly was struggling. But thanks for making the effort. Atmosphere: This was lovely because we had a table outside. I loved it. Top marks for that. And clean table. Well done there. Overall: When someone steals from me, I will never forgive nor forget. This restaurant stole from me. You do not deserve to be in business when you trade like that, there is no excuse. I do not recommend this place. There are great restaurants around, not this one.

Below average "gourmet" pizza and pasta at a high price. I was gouged when i ordered a pizza and sat at the footpath table. Popped across the road to the bottle shop to buy a stubby of beer and was charged $6 "corkage" by the pizza place! Total gouging. Last time i'll visit this place, there are hundreds of better options on Enmore Rd.

Quality has dropped drastically, pizza was burnt, the pasta was so much better when we were here 2years ago. It had tasted aithentic then, now it tastes like somone has added chicken salt or maggie flavouring to the pasta.

Best Pizza around - great service and even better food. Good pricing and always a smile on their face. Will be back!!!

Recently, I ordered food from Torino through the Menulog delivery service. The worst experience indeed. I totally don't understand if they had used oil for frying Pasta or was it, Pasta, just to add an essence over oil, because half the box of the pasta was filled with oil. That's so unhygienic. I hope you guys realize looking at that, about how they are dealing with people's healths out there.! A ridiculous experience indeed, never ordering again from Torino's!

The spinach pizza was lovely, just the right amount of toppings. The mac and cheese was incredible, the restaurant was out of macaroni but were happy to offer a different pasta. The garden salad was a generous serve and a nice accompaniment to the mains. My friend and I will definitely be back - together and separately. I'm hungry from looking at the picture as I type. The service was polite and fast.
