A solid 5 stars Staff were helpful on the phone, not shocked or surprised when I asked if they had tables available at short notice to reserve. Other places have been Staff were overzealous in their constant checking if we were ready to order, but only because they were keeping up with their duties, and we arrived while there were still few patrons. Very flexible when we asked for an off the menu entree, and didn’t skimp on the serving. Was able to ask what the staff recommended, and got good clear answers. Nice environment, really nice to be sitting outside but not in the way of people walking. Well spaced out tables, felt comfortable even when the place started getting full.
Dine in again 11/2/20. This is the restaurant you will never come back again after the owner has sold the business! Love this restaurant a lot and used to come here every month. The experience is bad! Restaurant has nothing in stock! No beef, no pork, no lamb. Pretty much has no meat, nothing is available. Only one floor staff is working and service about 30 people, no service at all! Take forever to order food as the waiter didn’t tell us what is not available! Food take forever to come to the table! It take an hour from cooking and serve on the table. ———————————————————————- Great food and service!! It will never let u down. Recommended!!
We had dinner here on tuesday night , Awesome atmosphere with live music , The food and service were fantastic and its BYO Wine which is so good !! Definatly recomend this place for a nice night out ! Thanks Pizzeria Don Angelo !!
Lovely local - have been coming here for about 8 years always good food and friendly service.They also have live music some nights and feature up and coming artists. Creating a lovely atmosphere.
Went to have a nice dinner with my partner which really didn’t end up that way. From the start there were issues... we ordered drinks, didn’t have 2 options picked off the menu, then waited 20 minutes for just our drinks. They really weren’t that busy by the looks of customers but we waited over and hour for our meals which were just a disappointment, veal scallopini would be lucky to have 100grams of veal on the entire dish.
Very inconsistent food. I ordered a lasagne for take out 2 weeks ago and it was delicious and of generous size. It was packaged in a foil container and nicely presented. Tonight I ordered lasagne again. This time it was totally different. It wasn't even half the size of the first one it half filled a plastic take away container and tasted completely different. No where near as nice as the first one and not worth the $26 I paid for it. So disappointing, I don't think I'll be back again.
Ive been there quite a few times and it's hit and miss as far as the food goes. 25% of the time it's been good but mediocre or less the rest of the times, depending on how busy they are. They definitely sacrifice quality for quantity. Last night will be my last time. I was told a 15 minute wait for a take away pizza and it ended up being 45 minutes. I wouldn't have minded the wait but the pizza was literally thrown together and not cooked well by the poor guy who was run off his feet. Not his fault. Staff are always lovely but as I said, food is hit or miss.
Ordered a Supremo pizza on Friday night. Asked for fresh sliced tomatoes to be added. Pizza arrive home with no tomatoes and looked like it was put together by a five year old. Inconsistent spreading of toppings and almost 2 inches in from the edge of the pizza!!!! Shocking for the price given that in these times you should really do better to keep customers coming back. Will not spend another cent here.
Went to this restaurant yesterday Mother’s Day. food and service was terrible. Long wait for meals over an hour to serve a table of four with food. Meals were shocking. Only just warm chips over done vegetables under done sauces terrible. When we complained about Luke warm meals they gave us some hot gravy to pour on the meals to warm them up. Pasta meals where over cooked and glugy. No taste and very little content. Veal was hard to cut and chewy This restaurant was great in the past I am told it has new owners who obviously have no restaurant experience and don’t know what they are doing. A complete waste of my time and money. Give this place a big miss
I have to agree with the other bad ratings here. Took me a while to rate this place but seeing most other people have had the same experience from the new owner I feel that I'm not just "having a whinge". The old owners knew what customer service was and their staff were always spoken to with respect. It was always a happy place to eat at. This new lady is not only rude and disrespectful to her employees she treats her paying customers with exactly the same attitude. Seeing that she is open after the lockdown and I saw bare minimum staff I'm hoping her other employees got a job that treated them right. The food is now average compared to the great meal it used to be. Don't waste your money here.....
