Not too happy with this company. We rang them and asked them to give us a quote. they gave as a quote to repair and when the bill arrived it had doubled.$500 turned into $1250. When I queried the invoice he now says it was a "estimate" and not a quote. he said the job took a bit longer than expected and the parts price had changed. Next time Id use someone else who could confidently predict the cost.

you havnt addressed the fact your quote was $150 and you said if it was going to cost more than "your Quote " you would ring me to confirm go ahead.. When I got the bill it was for $350 you may have come twice but the jobs were both related to the hotwater cylinder which wasnt going when you left the first time. that should of been checked. then you send it to debt collection without sending the corrected invoice. 
 my point is you quoted and didnt stick to your quote, you didnt ring me when it exceeded your quote (as promised ) and you didnt fix the hot water cylinder properly the first time and charge me for a second visit.   if you are a man of integrity Colin Tahana you would admit your mistakes instead of bullying people with debt collection and your inflated quote to the final invoice.
