Sadly the old inviting bakery is no more. Unfortunately the new management has no idea on what customers may like to eat. The standard of food was very low. The shop itself was dirty and run down with out of order facilities. Poorly stocked fridges had rags laying in front of them mopping up leaks which also caused a trip hazard. Please hire a baker who knows how to run what used to be a great bakery !!
This used to be a stella Bakery. Went there today and the pie I got was on the turn! If it wasn't off it was definitely on it's way! The sausage roll wasn't even cooked it looked to me like it was made of some mystery meat? Never again! Do new owners of establishments like this honestly believe selling food like this that the small rural community isn't going to tell others in the district?. Trying to pass this stuff off as quality food just won't fly around these parts!!
Have always loved calling in here for lunch while travelling up to the Riverlands area. But we won't be calling in anymore With a change of owners, the quality has gone.... scrolls half cooked and doughy. Chicken salad roll and pastie obviously left over from yesterday... dry! Paid top dollar for a terrible lunch.
Beautiful service. And sensational sausage roll. Fully stocked with all your bakery delights. So worth the visit in town.
This place deserves zero stars! No greeting when you walk in, no smiles, got mumbled at when asked what flavour pies they had, supposedly only 2 types! $15.65 for 2 pies & a loaf of bread! Avoid. Don’t waste your time or money. Keep driving!!!!
What a disastrous experience. Extremely rude and very unhelpful man served us, very hard to communicate with. The food did not look at all nviting and the plain pie was awful, the pastie was only slightly better and the coffee was under par. Do yourself a favour and drive to the next town to find something better.

Great coffee! Fresh Ham or Chicken salad roll $9, very good. Fresh bread.
New owners don’t know how to run a business. Don’t pay their workers on time. Won’t fire their workers, they just never put them on the roster again. Guy that works at the counter has disgusting long, dirty fingernails. All they care about is money and raising their prices. Sausage rolls went from $3.70 to $4.50 overnight because they are the most popular item. They will ruin this business. This bakery used to have a great reputation. Now it’s name is mud.
It’s probably better if you’re going for lunch, lots of sweet or savoury choices, but avoid this one for breakfast! Very few choices, unless you’re one of those who’s happy with a sausage roll or cake for brekkie.. toasted sandwiches were more or less the only option, and they were super skimpy and super expensive. The coffees were nice, but unfortunately you’re not able to use mugs outside and they served them in takeaway cups come on environmental awareness! but good outdoor seating, with shade and separate dog-friendly/unfriendly areas. Lovely staff!
