Very very happy with this place. Friendly service, and the food is value for money. In my opinion, this is more of a truck stop than a high end Auckland cafe, but I think that's obvious from the outside, so there should be no surprises. Went there with the family and we were all very happy with the food and service. The toilets also seemed clean, a little outdated, but clean, and that's the main thing. I've got no problem going back again, and recommend it to anyone looking for a decent meal at a decent price.
Very caring in respect to offering to clean cups out & offering a box to carry items in. Commented on remembering us from a year ago with our drinks remembered what we had. Very clean rest room & Cafe would definitely recommend. Parking: Parking at the door
Terrible service. So rude. Had my child with me who wanted to use the bathroom to which she rudely said you have to read the signs clearly and pay for something first. Fair enough. We attempted to pay and she said there were was no pay wave and rudely asked us to put our things back and pretty much leave! Rudest service I’ve ever encountered. Don’t waste your time. I’m shocked at the level of rudeness we encountered.
Worst experience ever. The lady behind the counter very rude. I bought the drink and ask for using the toilet and she said yes but not your whole family. Everyone have to buy something if they want to use toilet. We’re running the same kind of business we didn’t do that. Money is not everything! Life is too short! Keep smiling !
Terrible service. Partner clearly waiting to buy food and yet got harassed for my use of the toilet. Refused to let us fill a water bottle and said we had to pay for bottled water. Would be improved if they opened some doors our had a couple of outdoor tables. Busy day so maybe they weren’t coping but we won’t bother stopping here again.
I thought the food was nice. Atmosphere could do with a touch up. I thought the lady behind the counter was rude to others with comments like "no you cannot use the toilet until you buy something". I understand that the toilets are not public per say, but the rudeness was just too much. We sat down to eat our burgers and chips and when I asked for some ketchup, I was told to buy some at the counter while she walked away. This could be a nice place but we won't be stopping there again to find out if it has changed.
Food has lots of rooms for improvement. The owner I think they are from Cambodia with poor English. Please improve your attitude. Your egg Benedict is the worst I’ve ever had
I hate food that isn't what it's advertised with all the ingredients. When I buy a bacon ,egg & sausage pie I expect it to be just that, not a pie that's loaded with vegetables as well.Food: 1/5
The lady is very impatient at front. Poor customer service with bad attitude. Asking everyone who want to use tolite have you paid and are you out customer. The coffee also taste old.
Don't rate this place unfortunately. Not much food in the cabinets and it all looked like the days before food. Got some shumai and pies. Shumai sticks were so dry. Pies were pretty bland to and quite pricey.
