Decided to call in for a late lunch 2pm. I had a cod and slaw burger which had a decent size piece of crumbed cod with some salad as well as slaw on a decent size bun. It was delicious. Partner had decent sized piece of crumbed fish, a Tassie scallops and 2 prawn cutlets on a bed of nicely cooked chips. There was a little too much batter on the scallop and prawns to make them look bigger than they were but nonetheless he ate it all and said it was good. Restaurant is licensed not a huge selection and can’t sit outside the covered area if you purchase alcohol. We had a couple of Canadian Club and dry. Not the cheapest lunch at a few cents short of $60 but we throughly enjoyed it. Just be careful of the ibis who jump on the table when you’re not looking and take off with your food.
Really enjoyed our meal here today. The red emperor was so fresh & the batter was suburb! Chips were well cooked. Very helpful friendly staff. We just moved to the area so it’s great to know we have such good fish & chips nearby. Thanks guys!Food: 5/5
Great little place at Woorim - with good atmosphere and staff and management were exemplary. They sincerely cared about our dining experience without being fake. Will keep going . Food was fresh and tasty We were at the Mexican sideFood: 4/5
What a superb little treasure on the beach this restaurant is! As a family we ate there a couple of times on our Bribie holiday and the food was yum! Fresh tasty good portion sizes and the friendliest kindest staff imaginable. I am raving a bit but really mean it. On my 65th birthday a special one I guess my kids let the cat out of the bag and the lovely manager gave me a special extra treat. So touching. We love you guys, can't wait to visit next holiday
Came highly recommended and definitely didn’t disappoint. Unequivocally the best fish and chips I’ve had. The service was also very good; the staff actually make an effort to remember customers’ faces when you order, so they can make sure the food goes to the right person. Not a cheap feed, but in line with prices at the other seafood places on the island. The quality of the food and service is what makes it good value for money. Very impressed.
Such high quality food! I was super impressed. It did not long take long from ordering to getting the food, and it was so fresh. Highly recommend if you’re in Woorim!
Heard so much and didn't disappoint. Staff were wonderful and attentive. Food was great and didn't take took long even though it was busy. Gluten free batter was wonderful on the fish. Nice couple of drinks outside while waiting on dinner.Food: 5/5
The only positive thing I can say about Pig Face is that it is aptly named. Clearly named after the manager. I ordered and paid for 3 meals, 2 of them Caesar salads which came out as garden salads. I let one of the waitresses know we had the wrong order and not wanting to be a bother only asked them to bring out one of the Caesar salads. After speaking to the chef, the waitress came back and told me that she’s put the order through to the chef as a garden salad so if I wanted the Caesar salad I would need to pay for an additional salad. She told me it was my fault that she put the order in wrong. I refused and begrudgingly picked the capsicum off the garden salad. In the end the garden salad was sub-standard. My mother’s garden salad had a whole lot more ingredients in it than mine did. I highly recommend avoiding Pig Face if you value good customer service and a decent quality of food.
Friendly staff with great food to go with the beautiful atmosphere.Food: 5/5
Nice place for a quick bite, not the best or biggest fish I've had, but ok.Food: 4/5
