Beautiful place and beautiful people running the place. We loved the food and we iced the hospitality even more. It’s rare to find a restaurant where they really make you feel Comfortable and connect with you. Amazing food too and the recommendations by our waiter was superb! They have an amazing sense of humour and will happily cater to your needs and requirements. Their special was the fig salad and it was most delicious. Will also recommend cauliflower steak. I’m definitely coming back here!
Pier 10 was an impromptu stop after exploring Cape Schanck to start another round in sunny, wine country. Service - 5/5 - There's something special about rucking up unannounced and being made to feel welcome. They made such a good effort to get us seated even as walk-ins, even with a bustling big party already underway, and were instructed to only pick a single course as there were other reservations. We agreed to the terms and were seated by the windows to enjoy the view. It was a simple, quick experience but we were delighted by the staff, and this is priceless after a tiring morning of exploring. Food - 3/5 - The olive oil infused with parmesan, which came with the complementary bread, was delicious. For mains, we went with beef cheeks and the saffron gnocchi. The beef cheeks were a disappointment, as the entire dish was severely under-seasoned and the cheeks seemed to have been cooked in water. Copious amounts of salt and pepper did not help the dish because unfortunately, the flavours just weren't there. The saffron gnocchi was a standout --creamy, comforting, and rich. We enjoyed it between us and couldn't get enough! Ambiance - 4/5 - The restaurant itself opened to a view of the vineyard and countryside, very simply laid out with an outdoor deck we would have opted to use as indoors was very noisy. A large birthday party, and acoustics that only made the revelry louder, made it hard to hold a conversation. In all, it was a good, quick lunch. Service was honest and accommodating. The food could have been better but was filling anyway as a midway point to the rest of a busy day. We're glad we visited!
Good food and service on a cold wintery day. Lovely view from our table. Nice atmosphere sitting around the fire. Would go back again. Food, wine and company were just right.
Phenomenal service and the food is even better. Very friendly staff and owner, thankyou for making our night . We enjoyed every dish and were comforted by the staff with so much charm. Thanks for a wonderful experience and letting us in without a booking . Our waitress was wonderful and had heaps of attention to detail . We got good advice about where to visit in the area and will 100% come back
Wonderful venue/winery and beautiful food. Amazing and helpful customer service, big shout out to Stuart and staff for being patient with our loud and noisey group. Would definitely recommend this place to family and friends.Food: 4/5
Food was good, service was good- if you request it . Lighting was so dim we needed the iPhone torch to see if salt n pepper shakers were actually working . . . I guess great if you’re on a dinner date for an alternative/romantic motive. Wines were lovely ! Nice night.
I brought my clients here for a lunch booking to celebrate a special birthday! They loved the food, service and overall hospitality, in gorgeous surroundings, highly recommend!

Restaurant ambience is very cozy, rustic, and elegant. We had the calamari for entree and the pork belly and the duck leg for mains. Everything were scrumptious VERY. Prices and sizes/portions were reasonable. Staff were very friendly and lovely. We will definitely come back.
My wife and I had our vow renewal in early December, and we had it at Pier 10 with the help of Stuart and his amazing team. We first went to Pier 10 back in 2019 and instantly loved the setting, wine and food. We thought back then that it would be a great place for our vow renewal and got it in touch Stuart to start discussing our plans. Of course then Covid hit and we had to delay and postpone the event twice, but were finally able to have our event in December 2022. Throughout the three years, Stuart has been incredibly helpful with planning for our event. We had a rough idea of the theme and plan we wanted for the night, and Stuart was able to help us decide the seating plan and placement for the cake, ceremony and DJ that would work best for what we wanted. We also really appreciated how flexible Stuart was with the menu and drinks. We wanted a shared entree, but choice of mains for the guests, which didn't quite fit with the existing options but Stuart was able to accomodate that. We had a lot of guests with special dietary needs gluten free, vegetarian and vegan and Stuart was able to accomodate all of that and made sure most of the menu items were available to guests with those restrictions. We also want to mention the kids menu. We had kids who were vegetarian, and also a few that had nut and dairy allergies. Stuart was able to accomodate all of that as well. On the night, Stuart was incredibly attentive and frequently checked in with us to make sure everything was going to plan. I really appreciated Stuart suggesting that the kids had a dedicated table outside where they can get an extra ice cream dessert, which I'm sure all the parents really appreciated : Overall, we can't thank Stuart and his team enough for their help in making our vow renewal happen exactly as we wanted it after 3 years of planning.
