*WARNING - I am posting this comment for people with health insurance to check their invoice carefully when paying. I chose Physikal because they are listed as a Medibank Private Members Choice Provider on the Medibank Private website, meaning I would get the best value. However .... the amount I received back from my insurance seemed low. My subsequent enquiries led to the discovery that the provider number given on the invoice was not registered with Medibank Private. How could that be?!?! Because of this, I did not receive back the correct amount. The staff at Physikal could not be less helpful, even suggesting that Maryborough was not a Member's Choice Provider despite being on the Medibank Private website. They claim that no one has complained before to which I replied, "That's because people trust that when they put their health insurance card through, the correct amounts would be forwarded. DO NOT TRUST THAT THIS COMPANY IS DOING THE RIGHT THING. The reception staff are lovely until there is a problem. I couldn't believe what a different experience I had once a complaint was made. The receptionist at Maryborough was arrogant and rude. The saddest part of this review is that Sally, the physiotherapist was wonderful!!! I really appreciated her help and can thoroughly recommend her services. Despite Sally's good work though, I will not go to Physikal again because of this very upsetting experience. It's incredible how reception staff can damage a business.
What an unprofessional physiotherapy place of business. I have had the absolute pleasure sarcasm of dealing with last month! I have been seen by them since 2018 and am no longer with them as I'm digusted by my recent experience and found staff to be quite rude, over reactive and sick with infected throat and chest infection treating patients/customers.
Will never go back. Firstly they rang to see if I could come in earlier, and I said I would be their in 15 minutes. I get their in 15 minutes and then had to wait 30 minutes to see the therapist. After expressing how annoyed I was at the wait, the attitude of the staff was deplorable. When I expressed my annoyance to the therapist, he replied "I'm sorry for your wait but lets move on". So in conclusion I waited 30 minutes for a 15 minute consult, where the Therapist didn't know how to fix my issue and I paid the princely sum of $78 for the hassle. Not a very happy.
I began going after breaking my arm. In the fall I landed on both outstretched hands. The pain from sprained thumb ligaments was the worst. Fran worked on the tendons, going up the forearm, and after the first visit the pain was halved. Bruising went away very quickly and after 2 more treatments things were back to near normal. I am very grateful.

Don't waste your time going to this physio, unless you want to be clawed by nails and at the same time have maybe 10mins overall spent on you having actual "physio" done...if that's what it can even be called!! No massage therapist should have nails that long that they dig into you and agonise you and leave red scratch marks on you!! I'll know next time to never accept a referral to an unfamiliar physio.
I rang for an appointment and they had a cancelation, no wait, straight in. Tom diagnosed the problem and provided relief. No complaint here.
Thay take there time .and thay listen to what u say ...yes i would recommend them
