My friend and I tried this place for the first time today. My friend is Vietnamese and the Pho and spring rolls prawn met her high standards for traditional food. The rice paper rolls steamed prawn was okay, the taste and presentation was good but the flavour wasn’t as great as we’ve had previously. I tried the vegetable noodles and I loved the tofu, broth and noodles. The vegetables made it feel clean and healthy, and I’m keen to try the Laksa next time! The iced tea tasted diluted but it was refreshing! A little pricey but the food had great portions!
I don’t think that I’ve ever had bad Vietnamese food. In particular when it comes to their soups. It’s always of high quality. Lots of flavour and a generous amount. This place was no different here in Indooroopilly Mall.
We came for dinner on a public holiday. It was medium price but large delicious portions. I bought rice rolls and prawn cake. It was clean tables.
$21.9 for a salad is pretty expensive Food came fast and the serve was big but unfortunately the taste was average. Beef was overcooked and sauce was not enough flavour.
My favourite Malaysian Asian style food place. Been going there for 10 years maybe more. Love to have a glass of wine with a big yummy dish. But they didn't have red wine last week but it's the food and other beverages that is fabulous. Atmosphere ummm it's a shopping centre eatery restaurant. But great people watching though. Vegetarian options: Yep they have a few. Parking: It's Indooroopilly shopping centre parking
Nice and tasty pho, a little bit to sweet but overall a good taste. Pretty good size, for the price that you payRecommended dishesBeef Pho w Meatballs
Very disappointed. I have eaten here before and been happy but this time not so much. I ordered the Sugar Cane Prawns Salad and the dish out with something on top that looked nothing like prawns. When I queried the staff they said that the prawns are mixed with other ingredients and that is why they look like that. It looked like mystery meat or chicken or pork or something with a crumb on it and tasted nothing like prawns If you are going to advertise something as a prawn then that is what it should look like not like something completely different. I left feeling like I had been deceived. It is a big NO from me.
I eat here once a week, today I asked for some water to take medication before my meal and I was lectured and scolded by the manager with glasses. I am Asian and so was he! Looks like his parents did not teach him any manners nor humanity !! I am a senior citizen over 68 and he was extremely vicious and rude to me. He says, “this is one time only, otherwise everyone will want water”!! I told him he was rude but he did not care less, no apologies just walked away. I work in a restaurant, I would never ever treat my customers this way. We provide bottles of water the moment we seat our customers. It’s free, we do not charge for water!!!! I was so furious I spoke to his colleague and told him I hope one day when he gets old, he would not be treated the same way he treated me. The restaurant was empty, this was 2.20 pm Check your security cameras!
Fresh produce, piping hot, large serves with generous use of ingredients. Expensive for a food court but certainly far superior quality than you would expect from an eatery. All this place needs is a generous amount of privacy screening to visually seperate it from the food court.
Very disappointing. I use to love this place however the chicken laksa is not good value any more. A few months ago they changed the vegetables to cheaper, less tasty green. Next they almost halved the amount of noodles in the soup. Tge final straw came tonight. The tasty soup is now very watery. You've lost a long term customer. This dish is no longer worth over $18! I wasn't even full after this bowl of watery, overpriced soup.
