Jeff and his team are amazing to deal with. I’ve been shopping with them since they opened the Ponsonby branch and Jeff always went out of his way to make sure that he gave me the most cost effective solutions to any project I had on. One of the best camera shops in the country.
I went to Photogear in Ponsonby and had a fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, taking the time to answer all of my questions and offering advice on the best products for my needs. The selection of products at Photogear is also huge, with a wide range of cameras, lenses, and accessories to choose from. The prices are also very reasonable, making it easy to find what you need at a price that fits your budget. Whether you're buying online or in-store their customer service is always reliable and friendly. They always go above and beyond to make sure you're getting the right kit, and if they can't find it straight away they'll try and source it for you. They also have a wide selection of in-stock products which you can test and try out in both of their Auckland stores.
I have been dealing with photogear for almost 8 years now and pretty much bought all my gear from them. Zheng Wei Lu is probably the best person I ever dealt with yesterday at Ponsonby branch as it was my first time dealing with him and I hardly go to Ponsonby branch as couple of people there are bit rude and have no idea about anything in the store and never helpful lol. BUT “Zheng Wei Lu“ stayed 30 mins overtime and went above and beyond for me to help me select exactly what I needed for my urgent shoot yesterday. I really wanted to appreciate his service. 5 STARS and 10/10 for his service : Photogear definitely need more staff like him :
