Really delicious, generous serving sizes. The grilled lemongrass pork with rice flour rolls was so, so good!! Packed with flavour and so filling! My partner ordered the beef pho, which was also tasty but VERY spicy. I tried a only tiny bit of the broth and it left my mouth tingling for an hour. Thankfully, I had my delicious crushed pineapple drink to help me cool off. They also serve a coconut drink in an actual hollowed out coconut, which is pretty fun.
Great combination beef pho, although a bit pricey at $20.80 dine in as of April 2022. It’s a decent sized portion but a higher proportion of meat is required - there were a few slices of thick cut flank, two half sized meatballs, and one piece of tendon. Broth was good, not the best, but flavourful. Prompt service, clean and tidy restaurant, and pleasant environment. There’s some Chinese style dishes on the menu and the servers speak English and Cantonese.
Pricey. Wide selection of food including some that we know are NOT vietnamese style. Each dish is averagely $20 which is at the high end. Somehow my husband likes the food here. But not a place to go often :
Phood has one of the most homely and relaxing atmospheres from a restaurant in Chatswood. Not only are the staff accommodating and friendly but the food is spectacular. The pork chops were some of the most succulent, juicy and flavoursome pork that I've had in a long time. The pho was good and my partner seemed to slurp it up happily. The serving sizes are quite large and you will definitely be rolling out of the restaurant when you leave.
Watched the price jumping from 18 dollars to $24 dollars for a bowl of pho, used to recommend this restaurant to my friends who love Vietnamese food, but not anymore, I came in today, and they served mint leaves instead of basil with the combination beef noodle soup, I asked for Basil, the waitress said basil is “out of season” how refreshing, treating customers like they are idiots. Instead of fresh chopped chilli, they use some old marinated chill, the soup came warm not even hot, today is my last visit, $24 dollars pho, seriously, go somewhere else.
Friendly team serving tasty Vietnamese dishes without breaking your wallet. My go-to is always their Stir-fried Beef Noodle Rice Soup. Their rice dishes and stir-fried noodles are also amazing, so if you're in Chatswood and is craving for a good Pho, just pop right in Archer Street and enjoy the Phood!
Not authentic Vietnamese at all and definitely more of a Chinese restaurant with Vietnamese dishes… the food wasn’t the worst, but the phó chicken broth was like Chinese clear soup. Extremely pricey too, both dishes we ordered were $19.80 and $20+! Would’ve been better driving to Bankstown or Cabra from Chatswood instead! If the prices were more reasonable, could probably justify it, but not when these outrageous prices. Probably the worst part of the experience and biggest red flag was the Chinese music playing in the background
Quality food.more on the western side. Served quickly by friendly peopleFood: 4/5
Came here 3 years ago and left with a good memory of the combination pho. 3 years later food quality remains the same, did not disappoint. I ordered the combination pho which was a large portion and broth was amazing. Temperature was good to cook the raw beef. Really hates it if the soup is not hot enough to cook the raw beef. Had to give it a 4 stars because the chicken wings was really not the best. Ordered the crispy butter wings but it was soggy and you could tell the wings had been sitting in the freezer for decades.. disappointing. Overall the food here is quite expensive comparing to other Vietnamese restaurants in the area, but given the clean environment and food portion. I would still come back.
Great friendly service with a smile. The food is high quality and good portions. Me and my kids come here for a treat every now and then. I highly recommend this place. Wheelchair accessibility: Ground floor access.
