I posted after a few days at home. And still crazy about it. The food was so delicious I wish I could have more portions. It was my holiday short trip to Melbourne. Definitely come back next time as I always do every year trip to Melbourne Geelong-Ocean grove destination and I even tried to make one at home. Good recommendation . Love you Phorklore. Wish you were nearby one here in Sydney
Always busy but you generally don't have to wait too long to get seated!nOrdering via QR code is so simple or you can go up to order. Either way, your food is with you very quickly.nFood is always fresh & so flavourful! Love it!
Ordered the pork rolls for $18 based on reviews. It was ok. A little underwhelmed given the high expectations. Couldn't really taste any pork and the filling was a little too 'blended up' so there wasn't really much textures. Muted flavours that had a slight hint of Malaysian Ngo hiong. The only good things were the fresh mint, lettuce, and Vietnamese mint that went with the dipping sauce. Most Vietnamese dipping sauces are overly sweet but this one wasn't and was still tasty. Might try the cauliflower or tuna tartare next time but only if in out of other nearby options. No surcharge for weekend at least. Card surcharge though that was compulsory since all orders went through QR code.
Great location in Geelong, nice and open. Perfect for the Geelong summer weather. Ordered via the QR code and food came reasonably quick. Its a big serve for the noodles, just beware the spring rolls were the rice paper rolls.fried. if you're in the area and like reasonably delicious food, go here.
Most happening little corner on Pakington Street in Geelong in my opinion. We're drawn to the colourful lanterns and electic atmosphere when we drove past. The food was pretty good especially the Pho Laksa curry noodle. My husband wasn't impressed with the Pho Mee Goreng with blacksauce served w seafood. He found it weird but I didn't mind it. I almost finished the broth as I've tasted Indonesian beef noodle soup before. It tasted similar to that. This place serves fusion pho noodles with beers and its certainly very popular place to hang out in Geelong. Recommend to check it out if you're in town.
