Had a dinner here on a Monday as my usual pho place next door is closed on Mondays. Had their pho with meatballs only, small portion but it came out much smaller than expected. Very stingy on the meatballs see pictured, hadnt eaten it although put some chili oil already. Broth has nice flavour though. Chili oil is super duper hot. One teaspoon was actually too hot. Their grilled pork on the Bun was quite nice. Our entree came really late and only after asked, I would say they probably forgot about it. The waiter said because they only have one chef, but I would say they just forgot it because we finished eating our main and it still didnt come up. Anyway, the entree of salt & pepper tofu was nice, rather subtle on the spice but I like the tofu texture, nice and soft inside. Overall I think next door has a better value than this one, but still a good pho other than portion issue. I was still hungry after finishing my pho, lucky we got entree too after but slight expensive dinner
Ordered takeaway, happy to pay the unannounced 10% increase had to ask why there was an extra surcharge before they told. But then to have the bag not even last the trip home. I'm all about supporting our small local businesses but how can I when this happens?
Yummy Pho & bun Bo Hué. I try out different dishes each time I visit and so far, pretty close to what I ate in Saigon.
Nice and comfortable seating for a bowl of pho, not too crowded which is great Orders prawn and pork pho & vermicelli with springroll and roasted pork, both tasted yummy! Quick service, lots of free parking next to it, lots of food selection, will revisit
Have you ever been to a restaurant where you sat down and had a good time? I am guessing not but my experience here was great! I loved eating the food and Alex was so cool and entertained me. Anyways if u want rlly good Vietnamese food be sure to not come here! JUST KIDDING! This place deserves a spot of my top 1 best places to eat as there is so much good food that I can indulge on. If u want a guy to entertain u while eating be sure to ask alex and he will assist u but he will only entertain if I am there so make sure I am there anyways thanks for reading and make sure u come here and EAT.
We have been eating at Pho Kha Tran for a couple of years and the food is always consistently good and the restaurant is very clean. Their Beef Pho is one of the best in the area and one of us always orders it... They also have the most amazing home made dim sims which are so good we actually buy a couple of dozen frozen to take home to stash in the freezer... Crispy noodles are also delicious... Highly recommended...
I called up to order Pho, and unfortunately, after asking questions to confirm what is in the dishes I wanted to order, the waitress told me that I was asking too many questions, sighed and hung up on me. Poor customer service, not friendly and unapologetic. Made me feel very unappreciated and disrespected.
Very disappointed, it was a very hot day and the owner refused to turn on the aircon and quoted that she then won't be able to leave door open for covid. Another table complained but she ignored the request. We ordered the pork vermicelli noodles and the pork portions were like crumbs and had been refried. Their sauce was very watery and couldn't taste much. Didn't even finish and left. Definitely won't be back.
Staff were very attentive and service after order was very quick. Food was really good, and hit the spot with the famous things you normally think of with Vietnamese food and drinks. Hit the craving I was after, and will be back.
Came here to eat dinner and ordered banquet for 3 people but the portion of each dish is not really generous, definitely not enough for 3 people. If you’re hungry, don’t order the banquet. Definitely disappointed. 10% increased with food prices, 50c for take away container plus small servings.
