$25 for 2 hrs of ice skating with shoe hire.nAmbience rough but good shoes and smooth ice. The takeaway shop has many tasty treats and the toilets are reasonably clean, albeit old.
John is very nice! The place is a bit run down however its a great rink. Could use a bit of fixing up around the toilets. Such fun for the family. A great ice skating rink
Home of the Caribou Canberra Brave and the Pirates ice hockey teams who are arguably the best in Australia. Short ice is fast ice. Take in a game it's great ARVO/night out.
Great place, just need practice!
Sure it might not have some of the facilities of other pools but for what it lacks in features it makes up for perfectly maintained water, excellent sized intermediate pool you just got to try it and an exceptionally friendly staff. Plenty of grassy shade too and reasonable entry prices. Andrew Barr and his colleagues maybe have given the facility the cold shoulder but the staff and owners at Philip Pool have certainly managed to learn how to keep it all running nicely on a shoestring.
