Great place to visit with kids and family. Great models showing how chocolates are processed from cocoa and is finally made to the chocolates we eat. Great games allowing to redeem chocolate balls. Enjoyed the chocolate drawing machine which helps to draw patterns using chocolates. The $2 chocolate making machine would definitely keep kids entertained, as they can make their on customised chocolate. The cafe/restaurant offered various varieties of awesome chocolate based foods. Enjoyed the hot chocolate and other foods served by the robot at the cafeteria.
Delicious hot chocolate, innovative ‘robot food delivery’. Shop shelves were a bit bare and prices seemed rather high. We did buy rocky road to take home and it’s pretty good. Wouldn’t rush back, but worth a visit. Oh and they take Covid safety very seriously - no entry if not vaccinated and special air filters inside.
I loved this chocolate factory! It has many interactive experiences and a staff member helped me to make chocolate with the $2 chocolate machine. They give out free samples of chocolate too, you can choose what type for chocolate you want and then a little penguin will grab it for you. There’s just so much about this factory to cover! It is quite small but they somehow managed to pack so many experiences in!
Good place to visit for family and kids. Not as big as I had imagined. Entry to the cafe is free and for the tour it's $18 per person. What you get is a token with a QR code 10 credit points and a chocolate bar. You can use the token to play games that are towards the end of the tour and earn wooden balls. If you manage to win 6 balls you get a gift or some sort of prize. The interesting bits were the 1 ton chocolate block and things made out of chocolate. Some machines that you could draw or write your name seemed cool for kids to have fun with. The cafe had the usual stuff and nothing special in terms of chocolate based items.
Great place for kids and family, it's worth taking the tour if you've not been to this place before, you get to play games, they even offer you free chocolates and the tour itself is fun and entertaining. The whole process is very well explained through pictures and equipment used is also showcased. You must try the chocolate machine which allows you to pick the options and makes the bar right in front of you and it only costs you $2, it even packs the bar.
Visited during the Christmas week, 3 stars as most of the items were out of stock. The great ocean road chocolate factory is better in terms of variety. Loved the ones I got though
As boring as the other chocolate factories. Everyone need to pay $18 dollars on the ticket, including 3 chocolate buttons milk dark and white chocolate and a half sized milk chocolate bar. Scan the QR code on the ticket to play the games. 7 tries, when you win, get one ball which can be redeemed a mini chocolate ball. That’s very generous Don’t recommend, I’m not sure that the tourists without purchased tickets are allowed to go inside for shop or not.
A perfect getaway from city and nice variety of chocolates. Went to grab coffee and hot chocolate and it was soo good. Milk chocolate is my favorite. They have cute chocolate in animal shapes. Must stop by if your visiting Philip island.
Great day, wonderful exhibits, kids had so much fun. For was great in the café, robots were incredible, hot chocolate was sensational. Definitely worth a visit.
Great stop if you're a chocolate lover like me! Heaps of great flavours available for purchasing, and a cute cafe out the back with heaps of delicious menu items! The staff are all super friendly and were happy to answer any/all of our questions. I highly recommend doing the chocolate tour - we didn't do it the first time we went but did the second time and it was a great experience! Even for the kids! Also absolutely loved the novelty chocolate shot! Absolutely delicious, especially during the colder winter weather, a warm shot of liquid chocolate was the best!
