One of the best restaurants I’ve been to! The Thai food is so good it tops a lot of the ones in Sydney, got a bit of Laos influence in it as well! From front of house, wine/ cocktail list, food, ambience, wait staff, even the crockery, I could go on and on - our whole experience was amazing! Mind you, we’re a group of 35 with mixed dietary needs, I don’t know how they were able to accommodate such a large group with consistent quality of food and service throughout. It’ll be hard to go out again and get the same level of experience. Definitely one of the highlights of our snow trip! And will keep coming back for more!
To the owners- please don’t change anything. You have an amazing authentic Thai, totally unexpected, 5/5! Coming from Melbourne we are spoiled for choice of Thai, this Thai restaurant really impressed us. Had Pork belly hot wok, superb. Tom Yum, spring rolls, curry puffs, very good. The calamari dish is just beyond amazing.
I am so glad that I have celebrated my birthday here. The owner was very proactive with the tables and was super friendly. I was significantly impressed with the starter Kingfish. My partner who is not a fan of seafood, actually enjoyed it himself. The idea of coconut milk combined with the spice drizzled on the kingfish really brought the balance and texture of the food. The mains were equally as good! We demolished it! The desserts were top notch! I love the balance of soft, and crunchy paired with the setting of the dessert. I personally loved the creme brulee sticky rice with candied nuts to go with it. Such a brilliant combination! Definitely coming back again when we visit Cooma again!
Thai food is complex and we felt there has been compromised to adapt Australian taste. Laksa was disappointing but wok fry chicken cashew was good. Overall I wish to put 3.5-4 star as even food was ok ok, atmosphere and service was excellent.
We ordered Pad See Ew, satay chicken and Pork Chili Basil and rice. Everything taste so good. Wish the portion could be more. We met a very friendly waitress named Abby. Thumbs up for her great service.
Honestly one of the best Thai meals we've ever had. We had entrees and mains, in and out in an hour. It was full and we were in a corner which meant service was a little slow at times, but not enough to frustrate. Standout dish of the night was the slow cooked beef massaman, but the stir-fries were wonderful and fresh too. Very highly recommend, thank you for a wonderful meal. Parking: On-street
Fantastic service and very accommodating to our big group. The food is delicious and the portions are very generous. Highly recommend if you are in Cooma!
Wonderful old wool barn that has been tastefully renovated into a modern restaurant that honors its past. We only had an hour for a quick dinner but the food is first class…the Penang Duck curry was most enjoyable..highly recommended!!
What a feast! First time in Cooma and came across the Restaurant. 'Mhu grob prik king' is out of the world. Delicious! So much flavour in one dish. Spiciness is very forgiving. Kingfish sashimi with 'Nam Jim' and coconut sauce and coriander. The combination fused really well and kingfish was so fresh as well as the oysters. Staffs are very kind and friendly as well as Steve the owner. 100% will visit again. Thank you for the experience.
My partner and I had dinner here tonight. The service, food, and atmosphere were as good as you'd find anywhere. The fish cakes were the best. The young man and his sister who served us were just wonderful - warm, engaging, and professional. I could not find fault in this wonderful venue. Thank you for making our evening relaxing and pleasant after a long drive up from Victoria.
