Had my LONG HAIR Golden Retriver groomed for the first time at Petstock Echuca today. My fur baby was booked in for a wash, dry and a groom. My partner dropped him off and the staff didn't even know what he was in for even though we booked on line and told them what he was here for.nMy Partner told the young groomer our boy was here for a wash, dry and a trim.nnAny professional dog groomer should know that a LONG HAIR Golden Retriver should NEVER be sheard like he was. They can be trimmed but NOT sheard. Golden Retrivers have 2 coats 1 is a inner and 1 is an outer so they need to be trimmed correctly so their body can control the heat or the cold, they should NEVER been shorn like a sheep.nnIm discussed to come home to see my beautiful fur baby shorn NOT trimmed as requested.nnHis long hair is going to take forever to grow back. Thanks Petstock if i could give you a minus instead of a 1 I could.
