Every time we go there with my rotti x mastiff, we shop for a bit. And most of the people working there are so welcoming and engaging with my dog. I get great service and often at the checkout. Get gifted extra complimentary goodies for my doggo. They’re a lovely bunch of people. And sell a far wider range of stock compared to other places. Myself and Kiah always enjoy our visits. Thanks to all of you working there for being so welcoming and accommodating.
Horrible experience - Grooming service Today, I arrived with my 12month old miniature Labradoodle, who I have taken here for grooming on multiple occasions. He has a beautiful temperament and I have always made an effort to be friendly and polite however, today was the last straw. When collecting my boy, one of the grooming staff verbally attacked me. I have never been spoken to in such an unprofessional and hostile manner. Remarks included "you are very rude person", "you not care about me and show no respect" "you very bad and rude person and you hurt me" "I know you care about your dog but you so rude when you want to speak to my colleague and not me". yes, her English was broken Apparently, because I had asked to speak to her colleague regarding my boy's groom when dropping him off who I had already spoken with in detail on the phone, she was offended and took it very personally. I was shocked and had no idea how to respond to these accusations and criticisms of my character - seriously unprofessional behavior and a passive-aggressive communication style indicative of deep insecurities. There apears to be a power-play and tension between the grooming staff - which I have noticed in previous visits. There have been numerous red flags - like when I collected my boy from his second groom and this same lady told me that she had trouble doing his face because quote - "your dog is nasty". I brushed this and other comments off and gave them the benefit of doubt however, my boy who loves everyone and has excellent emotional intelligence seemed to become more terrified of entering the grooming salon with each visit. In hindsight - I should have trusted my intuition. I will never bring my boy back here for grooming and I hope that this review will, at the very least, prevent others from having a similar experience. I would appreciate an apology from the store manager.
I had the best experience yesterday at Pet Stock Balcatta. I purchased a Remote dog trainer and was served by Carla who went over and above to help us. She was professional, attentive and thorough in her knowledge of the product. Thanks Carla you have won us over and we will be back again.
Order my click and collect dog food from here. So prompt with their service, always good stick levels. Store is huge with lots to look at Staff are always pleasant and friendly Highly recommend setting up an online account and doing click and collect and even earning some points $$
Very unprofessional. Couldn’t finish cutting my puppies hair because she was scared and was nipping at them and proceeded to blame us that she wasn’t used to it.
The staff are so welcoming helpful and friendly. My 2 dogs love visiting this store just to say hello to the staff. The DIY dog wash is always clean. The groomers are wonderful with my anxious elderly Maltese X shih tzu.
I bath my dog Baxter here as often as possible all the love shown by the staff makes it well worth the little bit of extra travel :
Staff are always great and Balcatta store always has what I need although it's not my closest location it's the better choice. Store is freezing only bad thing, feel sorry for the staff
Extremely unsatisfied with the dog wash tubs. Everytime I bring my dog to wash him there's always something wrong with them. The water pressure is either terrible or the water is boiling hot. I always notify the staff and all they do is tell me there isn't anything they can do. Very disappointing considering this is the closest pet stock to my house and I've never had any issues with other pet stock tubs before.
Very friendly staff, super efficient and skilled. My dog has a collapsing trachea and degenerative bone disease and is vicious when getting her nails clipped yet the staff said she was fine and looked after her well. Full groom was quick and she looks great.
