Story

At Petit Cafe, we specialise in Traditional French Crepes, Pastries and a carefully selected blend of local coffee. Our Menu offers an extensive range of sweet and savoury crepes, all of which are delicious and prepared using local produce when possible.
We also offer a beautiful and tasty selection of cakes – made to order for Weddings and celebrations including Profiterole Towers – any size you wish, chocolate cakes are a specialty and much, much more.

Origin of Crepes
Crepes originate from Brittany, France and are traditionally made with buckwheat flour, which is gluten free. In France, crepes are enjoyed as a savoury meal or a sweet treat!

Our Coffee
Petit Cafe serves bio-dynamic, locally grown coffee. The Maloberti plantation is one of the original coffee farms situated on the Cairns Highlands (Atherton Tablelands), a region which produces 70% of Australian coffee. It is an Arabica bean which is sun dried and hand sorted before the roasting process, producing a smooth and flavourful coffee for you to enjoy.


Petit Cafe can also cater for Private Functions up to 30 people.

Fantastic crepes! There's a nice range of both sweet and savory crepes on offer plus nice cold drinks and coffee. Would be nice to see these guys open on the main street with longer hours.
Awesome french cafe tucked away amongst some artisan market stalls, set within the Kuranda village and rain forest. All crepes made gluten free from buckwheat. Delicious!
Amazing service and very good food. Best of the crepes that we ordered were delicious. We didn't expect to find such a great restaurant in the middle of the closed market so it was a good surprise.

Too slow basically waited an hour for two crepes. I think they need a less variety of crepes if they are serving lots of people with only 1-2 kitchen staff. Food was good but it's not worth the wait.
The most beautiful crepe, I've ever had. Me and my partner came back for the second time to Kuranda Village in our short trip in Cairns just to have their crepe. The chargrilled lime in their classic crepe menu is great idea. But any other crepe still taste awesome
Great service, fantastic food, a wonderful atmosphere and a very pleasant experience.
Fantastic food. Never had a crepe this good before. I had the honey roasted chicken with truffle and it was memorable to say the least. My partner had the salmon and it was equally delicious. Paired with a pitcher of champagne sangria, can’t go wrong.
