Story

Peter Van the Bread and Party Man had it's beginnings in 1973 and is a family owned business which prides its self on a level of advice and customer service not offered by supermarkets. They cater for party needs from Balloon decorating, DIY Balloons, Party-Ware, Lighting and Sound Hire, Dress ups and Accessiories, Masks, Wigs, Candles, Cake Decorating Supplies and much more!

In 1973 Peter and Betty Van, together with son, Mark, opened Van's Food Barn in a converted service station on Goodwood Road, Adelaide. They supplied professional bakery products, and a level of service and advice not available from supermarkets. Peter Van the Party Man is a retail and wholesale party-ware supplier, open 7 days to the public. Peter Van the Party Man specialises in balloon decorating and party supplies to make any party come to life.

We have a large range of themed party-ware and decorations as well as loads of dress up accessories, masks, wigs etc.

We now also hire party lighting and powered speakers that plug directly into Ipods/laptops/mp3 players (much cheaper than hiring a jukebox when you already have all your own music).
