Good field and even had benches and marquees for shade setup. The only issue, I guess, was parking.
A great oval named after a great man who is responsible for the suburb Jindalee's existence. Here is Peter and his wife Patricia soon after the oval was named in his honour.
Nice place to play football or netball. Playground for kids. Really lovely Christmas community service each year.
Fields are ok. Great playground area.
Nice fields but lack of goals and being able to use goals at the park when games aren’t on. Goals they use are now locked up next to the fence which cannot be moved meaning no one can use them just for recreational purposes. Only goal that is there is the one at the cricket nets. Good goal however a very rough surface at the goal makes it impossible for goal keepers to Dive without risking broken ribs. Not only this but the triangle roof on each net means if one ball goes over it becomes stuck and therefore people have to climb up the side of the nets to get their balls back, once again people can risk serious injury by climbing up the side of the nets to get their footballs back. Good fields but goals need to be more available especially to the general public. If they are scared someone is gonna take the goals that they’ve locked up then they wouldn’t go far cause they are not small goals. Plus the fencing around the field means there is no space to be able to get the goals out of the park. St cats have to be better as there fields are in a great area and many people use them for recreational purposes, should of kept the old goals that were in the ground on the main field or even back field instead of using a concrete wall or goals that back up to cricket nets which your begging to lose footballs on the cricket nets roof
