Been going to the Pet Doctor at Woodville for many many years, first for our pet rabbits now for our dog. Our dog attended puppy school there and has unfortunately over the years had several procedures there as well. I cannot commend the staff highly enough for their caring, professionalism, and their can do attitude. I have needed several urgent appointments in the past with our dog and they have gone out of there way the help out. They not only care for the animals but also there owners. Would highly recommend - would give them 6 stars if i could.
Met with vet 26.09.22 at 10.30am Re vaccinating kitten. Mentioned my cat mum and her 4 kittens aged 3 weeks were unwell. Kittens hadn’t eaten for 2 days, vomiting and runs. Vet told me to bring them in if things worsen. Things worsened. Rang at 5.00pm spoke to Mat. Said hi I’m worried about my kittens can I bring them in? He did not ask what my concern was simply stated abruptly NO. That he was under pump and had 3 calls on hold. Initially I thought he was joking! 4 x 3 week old kittens sick and that doesn’t constitute an emergency? I don’t know what does! The 3 calls may be asking if pet food is in stock. No offer to call me back after taking 3 calls, no offer to get me in, no offer to get vet to ring me, no offer to suggest another vet. Didn’t even ask what the issue was. I’m appalled. Years I’ve been going there with 2 dogs and 9 cats that’s a lot of business lost for them. Cold, callous and unconcerned. Now at 234 Torrens Road vet clinic - they closed at 6.00pm but we’re here getting seen to! Vet Claire is great! Never been here before! Service! Never again will I go to Pet Doctor Woodville nor recommend them. Disgraceful.
I have been using Pet Doctor Woodville and West Lakes over the last 30 years. Rob Carr has serviced us extremely well over that period. When he has not been available our dogs have always been well cared for by confident animal loving vets and nursing staff. I highly recommend Pet Doctor Woodville.
The best Vet in town! They always take good care of my dog!!! It was well worth my time to visit them because of the reasonable price and the friendly staff.
Pet Doctor Woodvile is an absolutely fabulous place to take your pet when they aren't feeling well and also for other purposes. The Friendliness knowledge excellent PR skills of the vets andall the staff and outcomes are spot on. At the moment there is a very shortage of vets and any vet that gets to work at Pet Doctor Woodville will find an especially happy place to be in its employ. Our Frenchie who has a history of aspiration and was showing signs of another episode. On a previous occasion we called our regular vet by the beach explaining his condition and even though we have been going there for years with up to 3 dogs they would not fit us in, which is very disappointing. Called Pet Doctor and they fitted us in straight away and our dog was seen to quickly, and price was very reasonable. This time i just took my dog straight to Woodville Pet Doctor without even calling ahead and he was seen to very promptly again. Recommend highly.
The Staff and Drs especially Dr Carr have always treated us and our fur kids very well. We have seen changes over the years as with any business, but Never have we questioned the care our animals have received. Thanks Guys
Great vet- friendly and courteous. Good value for money and always happy to help with ‘little’ questions. They’ve helped out with anything we need. After trying a couple of vets, this is the place. Despite challenges with covid & capacities, its always been easy to get an appointment and they’ve communicated well about those things
Thank you to the Pet Doctor Team for your friendly, informative and professional service. This was my first visit and I was warmly welcomed by Doctor K’s calm and compassionate manner which put me and my newly adopted cat at ease instantly. Highly recommend Pet Doctor.
The Woodville Pet Doctor have been part of our lives for 18 years …. They have always been caring, professional, friendly towards not only our pets but family as well. Recently taking our new puppy to puppy school which was educational and fun. Well done everyone
